but the sky shop changed brightness and colors for me to a more vibrant and pinkish background

yeah the purpose is to test the game. kinda gotta actually play it to test it. so we need candle runs like we do in live

it's not a replacement for live tho so I usually do more candle running in live than beta. for example I currently have 90 candles (TS wiped my stock) in live and 9 in beta

yes. progress and access wipes can and do happen. we usually get warnings but you risk losing everything. I think of beta as if it isn't really my stuff to begin with so I won't be sad if it all poofs

live is the way to go if you don't want to put a lot of work in for it to possibly get wiped fun example of beta unpredictability: before they implemented the ultimate gifts, if you spent your seasonal hearts on the (X) where ultimates would be you bought a null item. I can't get manta cape in beta because of it

yeah, 0 compensation for things that happen and if one skykid decides to exploit a glitch like the season pass glitch, we all get reset lol (unless we had less than the amount we get reset to. then it stays the same.)

Valley races are the best candles. Most of the time i just start it and do something else while it’s doing its job. unless there is a friend with me... i like to race in the sliding one.

yup there were people with legitmately earned seasonal candles that got their season candles wiped and reset to 20. because a lot of people got thousands of candles from the infinite season pass bug. and it kinda defeats the purpose of actually playing the season to test it if you have all the cosmetics from day one

What bothers me honestly is that if we compare the area before quests completed and the area after the quests completed on both the ark and the sanctuary, on the ark we can see A CLEAR difference on literally the first orb but in sanctuary anything is hardly noticeable even when completing the last treasure hunt....
