first, height is 100% completely randomized, this is sheer luck, there's no tricks whatsoever to attain a certain height
second, recent changes to the resize potion were made to make the height change more apparent.

The most important testing of the ultimates would be the instrument for sound and tuning/key. Other than that it's a minor issue on the whole.

since people want a wider variety of notes for the ultimate gift handpan, they could make it a steelpan! steelpans are like inverted handpans and they make a similar sound but very tropical and pretty!

mantas are cool but technology is also cool pEyes the biggest problem with the manta so far is that they dont go together on mine and my friends screens and it causes some confusion skyShrug

it would be nice to have an option to just have a little fancy cruise ship for conversing with friends while going all over and through the ins and outs of the islands on a predetermined path so theres no separation!

there would be lounge chairs you can sit on and chat with people and you'd be able to go inside the ship! not being able to do much but, maybe spark some little sky roleplay idk SkyLOL
or enjoy the view from inside!

The store was something that was used before global release when the season was known as the winter season. For now, it's just a placeholder, but the newest update removed it.

Some minigames for Sanctuary:

Running race around the island on the beach, starting from under the bell tower around to the caves on the other side of the island, only allowed to touch the beach no flying or running on anything other than sand.

Flying race from the top of the mountain, through the flying island with a hole in and then back to the top of the mountain.

Everyone grab a crab and challenge to transport the crabs to the top of the mountain.

Beach crab collecting, we put down 2 tables or campfires with 2 teams of 4 players and try to bring as many crabs as we can from inside the crabcave back to our campfire / table bases.

There are 3 butterflies by the beach where the statues are, we can have teams to carry the butterflies around the island on the beach

We can try climbing the caves without flying, just using the jellyfish and ledges

I'd like to do something with the manta too, just not sure what at the moment.

I never played sky smoothly on 30fps def mode. And I got to say when I dipped in beta I can run almost 60fps with no lag at all I'm suprised when I dipped into beta the first time. While there are some minors bug I've encountered. Like clipping under the ground, grey texture on the season island. Its just minor, I wanted to thank you for letting me into beta and I will be glad to help giving feedback to this game 🙏

@smoky kite the account thing happened to me before! go to google play, then settings, and check the "always log in using this account" box. everytime you switch between your primary and secondary emails, the box will uncheck itself, so you'll have to do it everytime

Thank you also @steady pond and @random gull, i had to log out that secondary user off my phone for it to be able to work. In the android live game you don't need to log out, once you switch your account in google play, your account will be easily switched, but not the case in beta i think

I've been browsing through the old concept art of sky and saw that some scratched design was brought back to the sanctuary season, like the arrows that points to the island entrance and the manta designs in sanctuary from the old manta designs

But when we sign up for this it is understood that things can go “wrong” and we won’t be compensated. That’s what I wanted to convey. While a question asked may sound like repetition to those who frequently visit the forums, from the perspective of the person asking the question it is their first time. It's not inherently negative to accidentally be labelled a new player. That would be a terrible attitude to the players of this game! Again, old and new, we all have to remember how beta works and sometimes we all need a reminder. There will most likely not be a compensation of any kind, whether monetary or with the items being made available. That is how beta usually works. It's great to be able to express our feelings here and no one should be made feel bad for wanting to comment/cheer up/help out another player.

No idea. It was never really mentioned anywhere in the patch notes when it did appear. Perhaps they wanted to rework it? I thought it might be a good idea to have the regular shop as a physical one in Home, instead of as a menu in the game, because that seems to have confused some new players.

Probably. TGC has decided on a new system for beta testing, which means that there will always be an access wipe before each new season to test.

But I do hope they work out what went wrong with Google before that, so that it doesn't happen again. It's been so sad to watch the frustration from those who haven't been able to join.

It's meant to be an Easter egg that's hard to obtain. Also during flight the cape hides a lot of model wonkiness. Like if you sky kid does a forward or backwards flip in glide mode.... The ingame model basically folds onto itself pFIRE capeless mode in flight reveals it and it just looks silly and immersion breaking lol

There were some vague context clues as it had old winter season decorations that it was something to do with seasonal content, but it was also a reused prop from very old beta. Next Monday is the soonest anyone can buy it with legitimately earned candles. so anyone who has it already either that was a hacker or someone who took advantage of the small window of time between the cosmetics being available and the candles from the infinite pass bug being wiped. hopefully someone can buy it next Monday so we can see the recharge animation since I think most of us spent our first 3 seasonal hearts a little too quickly with the null ultimates SkyLOL

I think they moved that star down to the green light island, to allow a higher chance for the green light to be seen by newer players who haven't yet encountered the green light quest in ark, yet they might get a green light daily quest. Two birds one stone stickerShiny

Am Beanie: I don't think it's a bad thing for the game to have a certain level of requirements that asks more of newer players. There are always easy quests that moths can complete. SkyTada and being barred from an area does give them more incentive to do more exploring and playing.

Another way to look at the lost hearts and missed out ultimates, you guys can always try to get them in live.

Also I'm sure quite a lot of you have submitted feedback and bug reports to help Devs make this season an amazing experience for live peeps stickerHeart it does take a lot of time and work to get this stuff done.

If Devs were to compensate beta people for the lost seasonal hearts and the ability to buy the handpan... That would take time and attention away from live. And to give an item that might be gone in a future access wipe anyway.

I mean u can get the regular spirits anytime when you have some extra candles, but travelling spirits are more unpredictable. So what i do usually is spend on ts buy the stuff i like and if i like less things than the whole tree i upgrade regular spirits. (But i can’t resist upgrading friendships 🤭😂)

I like the idea, medieval could also be mixed with the celtic knot patterns and the game already has similar shapes. Mostly on buildings tho.

I was lurking here too when i wasn’t a beta but mostly came for the opinions after a bigger change came to live. (Eg. Honk, table) I was curious how a smaller group of people can model the live players readction to the feature.

I believe functionality overrides aesthetics most of the time. That is to say, if some players say they don't like the style of a new item, but the item works fine, it's not a given that TGC will change it.
