The thing with Seasons is that they were advertised as LIMITED Time items. I remember a few months back people were mad because Traveling Spirits were introduced, this breaks the “limited time” statement that TGC made. The madness lasted for quite some time until the topic of bringing back Ultimate Gifts was mentioned. Of course, people were upset again because this time it’s the Ultimate Gifts that we’re talking about. People grinded and paid real money to finish the season to get the Ultimate Gift. And to have it come back as a Traveling Spirit and (assuming) you buy it for (x) amount of hearts/candles is a bit unfair for those who grinded the season for two months and for the people who paid candle bunches as well.

So, to put it bluntly. I’m against the idea of making Seasonal Pendants and Ultimates be brought back to be purchased.

Maybe I should clarify, I don't mind new players getting access to older items. But it seems counterproductive to have exclusive items later become readily available to anyone. Plus what I always say, it has introduced a culture of grinding, which very obviously seems to stress many players out.

I wish TGC considered an excellent suggestion that was put in the Wishlist channel by a player a few months ago. Bring back past seasons (with AP and required grinding) in rotation with new seasons. It will allow newer players to access cosmetics the same way as other players did in the past, if someone was only a few candles away from completing they would have the chance to finish, veteran players could take a break from grinding until new season, TGC would cash on AP. Win-win-win for everyone.

Yeet-shark has made a very important point there. This is beta and I encourage you to try and detach yourselves a little from the cosmetics etc, to save yourselves a bit of stress and frustration. It looks polished and operates pretty much just like the live game, but it is merely a testing ground. Nothing in it is “technically” yours. Access, progress, all of it can be removed at any time depending on the needs of TGC. That’s not done to hurt people. Things like this happen and it’s important to get out of the mindset of “player” and into one of a “tester”. Don’t sweat the small stuff. If and when the ultimates require testing, they will be made available. stickerHeart
