Everyone, please don't forget that the seasonal candles converting to normal candles is completely normal and intentional. We weren't supposed to able to buy seasonal candles in the first place, it was merely a bug and it literally says on the shop page that seasonal candles will convert into normal candles once the season ends. This is a thing in both live and beta and there's even a warning before your candles gets converted

So report any bugs ( #beta-bugs-android / #beta-bugs-ios ) you do find that seem out of the ordinary (like spirit cutscenes not working or things that work in live not working in beta) , in the next couple of days we can dig into that seasonal content as things are fixed and function properly.

Hmm, just thinking out loud here but it sounds like a lot of people in beta get the same glitches and bugs. I think it would be a good idea for skybot to be programmed to implement a or or some sort of 'me too' reaction so that if someone has experienced the same bug as someone else with the same version and device they can just second it with a reaction rather than cluttering the feed with another report. Thoughts?

Bugs the Beta has found so far:

-Quest icons not displaying properly

-Questgiver is idle in the new area, interacting does nothing

-Seasonal spirit cutscenes are incomplete and/or bugged

-Seasonal Quest UI does not show when you tap on the icon above the Questgiver at home

-Seasonal spirits, seasonal cosmetics and the seasonal constellation are all unresponsive

-Geysers can clip you out of bounds

-Winged light located out of bounds

-Small visual bugs

-No beach chairs, beach balls, boats or any outdoor equipment despite the season being clearly based on a vacation

Thought I’d update this a bit regarding more reported issues.

I nearly lost a winged light with the Crab cave spirit, people wouldn’t stop deep calling trying to flip the crabs over. They’re forgetting deep calling instantly draws them to you, it’s like the devs intended for them to get angrier when you deep call.

@spark lance It ends when the devs decide. The devs open new spots for the beta every now and then, I assume they prune inactive users. There’s an expiry date on the beta app, but it gets reset every time an update rolls out.

We weren't supposed to able to buy seasonal candles in the first place, it was merely a bug and it literally says on the shop page that seasonal candles will convert into normal candles once the season ends. Beta progress can always be wiped. We knew that the seasonal pass candle thing was a glitch And we're expected to test the candle spots and quests anyway which would mean we would be able to eventually get the ultimate gift if we follow testing proceduress,, I don't think it's a big deal that they converted. On top of that, they could completely wipe all your candles at any point - that's already noted when you first joined beta in #beta-faq

Two weeks (normally) after the current season is over, however given the size and amount of bugs we’ve already found, it’s possible that it might take a bit longer

@austere mirage If you go to birds nest in praire, then head to the second island (with the spirit) and look down into the clouds, you should be able to see it. Make sure you face the opposite way the spirit is facing! Hope that helps

well technically they aren't completely wrong, the developers are responsible for the apps they release into Google, at the same time no details have been released to what the cause of the problem specifically is.
