the purpose of beta is testing, first-and-foremost. TGC has been very upfront about that. So choosing to treat it as a game rather than a testing environment is entirely your own choice

I dont know about you but I put way too much time and effort into this "testing" and regardless of what it "technically is" its still a game that many have put numerous hours into and to have to go through the invites again is just a big old major pain

Games tagged as "beta", both for testing and original games, are always displayed as being games in development, and ones which have room for improvement. Progress wipes are usually inevitable, and it's rare to see a game studio/company hide this fact, although community members might intentionally wish to ignore this fact - for their peace of mind, I guess.
I think the issue is that some people didn't fully comprehend what a Beta game usually insinuates, and are caught aback by the changes to their thinking.
Introducing new eyes into testing has been proven to be beneficial, countless of times throughout an array of different game genres. Yes, experience is welcome, but a pair of fresh eyes can often spot things experience can't. I think TGC's actions are completely justified (asidce from the fact that it's... their game), as they completely abide efficient testing protocol.

(just my two cents, sorry for the lengthy paragraph 😔)

I understand spideymama, if you feel frustrated that you have been kicked out of beta and have lost all your progress that you have made testing for Android. However, the system TGC uses for this helps a great deal whenever bugs are present - some newer players can spot bugs old ones can’t. Beta has been stated to be a wipable, testable account many times, and it’s unfair to those who are excited to get into beta for this to be negative.
