The other is the piano

i think some people may be close to completing because a couple lucky people got huge amounts of candles from the pass but I don’t think anyone in beta will be getting the piano 🤔

The "winter pack" piano is larger than the one they're planning to release for SoR it seems (Cause I noticed it on gram gram's back in beta, it just looking like a white version of the current piano). But the "winter pack" piano does play in the same pitch class but a whole octave higher. And very piercing for my ears lmao

I think some of the grievances in regards to FOMO and wanting to be a part of certain seasons is like unrealistic in regards to some games. There’s games I’ve seen That you can’t even move up if you don’t do IAP, a lot of things require so many of something to where you’ll have to resort to IAP, a lot of games rerun things but a lot of games also don’t repeat events? Like a lot of rpg games have summoning events and they almost never repeat. But people showcase event limited characters, cards etc and people can’t get them but it’s like sorry? Can’t get it so idk why TGC opting to do the same is so bad

@wet zenith seasons in beta are always shortened for testing purposes. Iirc this one is supposed to last ten days? There should be a countdown when you sign on.

Because there is a reward specifically tied to ascending friendship with every other spirit. So it sets an expectation that ascending this one will result in the same.
Also, as a player who experienced Gratitude, I have most of the cosmetics beyond the unlock point. So the only practical purpose of the ascended candle lock is to make things beyond that point more expensive than they originally were, and not to encourage unlocking for its own sake.:

88 candles to fully unlock the fox/cat spirit in 48 hours. This spirit does not seem to require season candles, only "regular" in-game currency. 88 candles is impossible to collect in 2 days so the player needs to buy candle pack(s). It is hidden pricing so tgc needs to make it clearer when they release it in live. The other teavelling (?) spirits I assume will also require the purchase of additional candle packs on top of the season pass, as they also seem to have the 2-day time limit. they’re only there for 2 days, but you have 7 days to save up. that’s enough time to save up (not that you have to get everything anyway...). purchasing candle packs not necessary.

idk if there’ll be a way to know which spirit is coming, but it said they show up on weekends.

so if one shows up every weekend, it’ll be possible to save up enough candles each week to get everything from every wandering spirit (again, we don’t need to get everything, but you can if you want to.)

Sorry it's really confusing. So the new season is basically Winter rebranded. But, each spirit will be a wandering spirit, and nobody knows which shows up and when. They will require mostly regular candles to unlock. So what does the pass exactly cover, what will the player get for their money? And how do the non-Winter wandering spirits fit into the season picture?

So far we consistently get 18 seasonal candles from the ones they leave in the environment correct, that may be with the one you get from home

And you get four from quests

So if I save 4 the previous day

4 quests, 1 bonus, 8 bunches that give 1.5 candles each

It’s a compromise. You will have to collect the spirit in the level before you can access the spirit tree, and it will only be available for a very limited time, so I’d perhaps research the gratitude spirits on the wiki and choose what you really want to unlock so you can plan ahead.
