@crisp plinth just go for it, but have another person with you so you can deep call together for light and knocking crabs over. if krill spot you, just do the home trick at the last second, then continue as the spirit will expire if you wait too long

Just go for it minisow. I went for it. There were other players who were absolutely brilliant for baiting the krill and knocking over crabs so we could get on with the task.

Welp, I managed to get the spirit in Wasteland. I met another player who was trying to do the same. I wasn’t sure at first if she was simply being nice and helping me or if she needed it too. But we both worked amazingly well together despite the constant crab attacks. They tag team you so the krill can eat you for breakfast. We got hit so many times by crabs and krill alike but somehow we both managed to collect ourselves and get back before we lost the light. When it was over she bowed to me over and over and over again, like I had done something amazing for her. So she and I were both scared to death but good helpers to each other.

Anyone else finding the plants are taking a little longer to burn? Not as ridiculous as it has been recently, but long enough to make big plants such as the one in the last section of wasteland just a little too hard. I almost gave up. It’s always been enough time to burn a branch and catch the next before it grows back too much, but today it burned so much slower it was a real trial of patience and persistence to get it burned down

If you're getting the Item Not Found message, make sure the Google Play app itself is up to date. if it is up to date, try clearing the Google Play cache and restarting your phone by turning it completely off and back on.

If you have multiple Google accounts try toggling between them and make sure you're viewing from the Google Play account that was accepted into the Beta.

If none of the above works, type "google play item not found" into whatever search engine you use and try the troubleshooting steps suggested by numerous sources. If you find something that works, it would be awesome if you could report back to the folks here. It's a known issue for many games in the Play store, not just Sky.

Yeah, but what’s the point of cover if it’s not really going to help? I didn’t see a real safe way to traverse the area. And if the solution is to use a buddy as bait, I really don’t see that as right? There should always be a way to run through safely. I don’t ask to make it easy, I just ask for better cover.

And maybe there was a safe route, but it wasn’t really obvious to me.

It was 5 am when I did that spirit, so maybe I was still a little groggy.

I had a helper- they acted as bait and helped guide me along but let me do it. When I got hit, they’d grab the spirit for me. It was actually really cool. I enjoyed the trek

They obviously had already obtained the spirit so it was pure helping me along for them.

Yeah, i had the worst time. I did it with a random person I ran into on the way over. Both of us kept getting hit, by krill and by crabs. The krill scare me, so I never stick around this map long enough to see good hiding spots or know where safe areas are

And like someone mentioned, the search lights go through the walls and cover, so it's never clear where is safe and where isn't

In many areas the search lights go through, but you can still go undetected. I do believe there is a line of sight involved. It is daunting though. You’re never quite sure what direction it’s coming from.

some general advice abt krill, 1) keep an eye on where they are, this way you can find a place to obstruct their vision 2) there's a delay on the krill losing sight of you so you can be in a spot and for a second it doesn't register as obstructed. 3) you can literally run behind and past ribs and the krill loses you. 4) you have 5 seconds to find cover, so always look at whats around you

This is probably a really common question, but when joining the Android beta, it says I have to download it from Google play but when Google play opens the app, it only says "item not found". What to do when that message pops up?

If you're getting the Item Not Found message, make sure the Google Play app itself is up to date. if it is up to date, try clearing the Google Play cache and restarting your phone by turning it completely off and back on.

If you have multiple Google accounts try toggling between them and make sure you're viewing from the Google Play account that was accepted into the Beta.

If none of the above works, type "google play item not found" into whatever search engine you use and try the troubleshooting steps suggested by numerous sources. If you find something that works, it would be awesome if you could report back to the folks here. It's a known issue for many games in the Play store, not just Sky.

As you're probably aware, many people--potentially thousands of people, if they're even a small fraction of the over 1 million downloads of the game--reported that the flashing lights of the fireworks could trigger seizures and migraines. Even for those without such medical conditions, spamming fireworks causes severe performance lag and can crash the game on many players' devices. Even if we set aside the performance factor, putting something in the game that causes real suffering for players is not cool. TGC did not add the cool-down just to troll players.

If not being able to spam fireworks means that more people will be physically capable of playing the game, then yes, it's worth having a few less green and pink dots in my screenshot.

I recently complained about someone spamming fireworks in the maze when one at a time would have been helpful without lagging my game. But 7 seconds? Yikes.

yeah, as someone who has issues with light suddenly shifting harsher, im really not going to miss people spamming fireworks at home at night. the cooldown might be a little much (i... dont use fireworks often so idk) but i think the solution is a little more balancing and not letting people run wild

Spamming confetti is not nearly as loud or graphics intensive though, and fewer flashing lights

Confetti at least is not quite as bright and loud as fireworks, fireworks would take up the whole screen for me and would make it difficult to see friend stars at home or just focus : (

Yes. Unlimited power of fireworks can have unintended consequences on other players similar to the way that unlimited table glitching did

But imo even if it remains untweaked, i’d be ok with it. Id much rather have players who have epilepsy issues or migraines be able to play than for me to shoot off multiple fireworks in a row

(Plus you can still gather a group of friends with fireworks staff or spell to shoot a bunch of fireworks at the same time 😄 )
