What I'm saying is, it seems like an obvious cash grab if you look at the bigger picture.. If I wanted to keep up with my daily heart trade between just 3 people that's 9 candles. Farming 9 candles every day takes hours and that means you need to be committing hours to grinding the same 6 zones each day to trade a currency that might not even come back your way - it's really up to whether the other person can or will grind as well

The more days you fan out your heart gifting on the more calming the idea of the game becomes. It's like eating a little cake every day. Best to take small bites and enjoy it versus chugging it down as hard as you can, imo.

- Fixed various issues with Daily Quests, including the earlier bug of only one quest appearing.
- There are some new Lightseeker Daily Quests for you to try. Let us know what you think!
- Wax gifts in the constellation friendship menu have been replaced with heart wax (partial heart) gifts. It’s now possible to forge hearts from these partial heart gifts.
- Piggyback has been fixed to disallow double ride on the same person.
- We fixed a bug where you would continually spiral up on piggyback.
Known Issue:
- We are aware of a bug where you may not have access to a portal that you have already unlocked. Please let us know if you encounter this bug. In the meantime, you can get around it by rebooting the game.

You still can't buy hearts, so I see it as a strengthening of the game's theme of friendship mattering more than money. Before, friendship was only ever light/candles that you could buy, with the proviso of having to be gifted by a friend at some point in the form of a heart. Now, it's more direct: friend gifts count towards hearts no matter what.

I’m pretty happy with that. The wax from friends sending light rarely made much of a difference to my candle count. At least this way it can slowly add up and periodically treat you to a heart. Doesn’t help with the grind for candles though. I’m trying to leave myself with 3 at end of day just in case I need them desperately, but I do have to grind thoroughly daily in order to balance my books.
At the moment I’m trying to get both beta and live done so I don’t neglect anything and it’s so time consuming!
