Yeah, if you raise the platform to the second level and head to the hidden glade area.... as soon as you enter the glade, you start rising, and you don't even have to touch anything and it will eventually throw you oob.

this is also a problem if you leave and return to the vault sometimes that the platform will have already been raised.... and if you then head to the hidden area.....

Is there anyone else who got the seasonal spirit in isle (piggy back) who is unable to use it? It’s been that way for me from the start. Going back to try and get the spirit again or going back to the temple doesn’t fix the issue. So I look at my constellation, it’s there as well as the upgrades I purchased. But the emote is not in my menu, despite the various patches so far. I’m glad this isn’t live because I would be 😭. At least the red light on my cape has stopped blinking. That was driving me crazy.

I didn’t see the beta notes you refer to, in fact I still haven’t found them. If there was information when you get the spirit as to how you access it, I missed that as well because the program glitched on me when I was at the temple. I’m glad to finally understand how this works.

Has anyone made a plan of action for the new season when it goes live? As in what you are unlocking first etc and in what order. I unlocked randomly last time and didn’t get very far with it all. This time I absolutely must have the capes and umbrella. Hoping to be done with my forest elder hair within the next 2 weeks. It’s just candles and 15 hearts left to unlock it all. So I’m hoping to go in when it goes live and focus my attention on that. 🙂

I just want to mention if you think the video I posted seems crisp in 60fps:

The stable framerate makes the frame timing stable. That is the time between a frame is drawn. More stable frame times means things like motion blur will look more coherent and for our eyes it appears sharper, when really it's just that the blur makes more sense because there's no jutter

I mean, I did give it a lot of thought because it involved getting rid of some workflows for doing things the traditional PC-to-PC way, and now using dropbox more.. apps.. things like that, and it's expensive so I wanted to be sure I made the right decision.. Had I stuck with the 2017 I couldn't be as efficient or versatile. But you do need to make the "full switch" and that's a big step.

I'm sensitive to emissions so worry the wireless Pencil charging would bother me, and as mentioned it seems potentially fragile. I also strongly prefer the Smart Keyboard being tucked behind in Presentation Mode. I prefer a passcode so don't care about FaceID. But 2018's WAY faster and has USB-C. For my needs, 2017 is still plenty fast, and I actually prefer Lightning to use physically, and don't use my iPad with accessories. But I definetely agree overall 2018's a better device for most.

As someone on a very limited budget, the fact that the new base model still uses mine's chipset is a relief in terms of support horizon.

High refresh rate displays is a mind blowing thing that you have to experience and use to understand, so few average customers really understand just how nice 120hz really is.. But when they do.. Its a whole new flow. Add in that iOS is the only interface that makes use of motionblur in the menus and the design idea that everything should "flow".. its pretty good imo.

I prefer reading news on it simply for the smoothness for example

But there’s no need to remove friends for being inactive, since active friends will drown out your inactive friends anyway

That would be nice. I have a number of people who friended me so I could help them through an area and then I never see them online again. They take up so much space it makes it hard to find the people I do interact with.

Me too, I’m selective which friends I “favorite” because the crown space is so limited. But when I make a new friend that I want to intact with more or send them some love, I have a heck of a time finding them in the clutter of “friends for one area and gone”.

Favoriting them means that they won’t be cycled out of your constellations

And you get notifications that they’re online

I think it would be perfect if “lighting a player” would allow you to hold hands without being friends. Then you could help players in difficult areas and if that’s all they want then they won’t clog up your constellations.
