The elders might have become powerful beings wielding light as their power source. Eventually the Diamond in Eden fractures and the wonderful light they had became a nuclear disaster, shedding Eden of it's light, giving way to a darkness that brought in the Krill

We learn through cut scenes that our light is absorbed by their small diamonds.

Eden has a giant one where scattered red crystals absorb your light.

The quest is to return "the light" of the stars and join into orbit

it worked for me. I think the issue is if another player activates it before you, it's inactive. try leaving the area for 30 seconds or so, and try to be the first player to the shrine.

not sure, but I had a slightly different problem that I'm awaiting an answer on: the address I gave has no associated google account. I tried to click the invite, and it took me to the group and said I don't have permission. I added the email the invite was sent to as an alt on the account and tried clicking the invite again but same result. possibly my invite is already "used" at this point.

I recommended not doing that. Here's why: general discussion about beta involves everyone testing. Since iOS is a closed system, there's not much to talk about with regard to differences between devices, while in the android universe we expect a lot of chat to be about the differences between hardware and even ROMs. It might seem imbalanced at first, but a lot of the chat about android so far in this channel has been about hardware more than the game. If we find that a lot of iOS-specific chat is cluttering this channel, we can always rethink it.

No, there isn't. There wasn't as much of a need to separate beta and live before the global launch, but this could be something to consider. In the meantime, we can redirect people there until we're told another place would be better.

Solid feedback @main ivy , and i’m glad i’m not the only one that feels like the idea of dragging friends to an “exclusive” purchase room feels very skeezy.

Ive not been really sure where to put feedback in a place where it feels like itll get somewhere but my main criticism of the sheets is that the UI design for guiding players between keys makes it quite hard to infer timing, and the arc between keys doesn’t give you enough time to make it happen if you cant decipher the “zoom in” animation and what order its asking you to hit the keys in. Elite Beat Agents has a similar design problem and it far more clearly telegraphs timing and key order.

Oh also, from what i noticed the new level content increased the download size by just under 20MB which isn’t much at all.

I was thinking, and this is early to discuss but I thought about it regardless:

How will android user access the secret if there are no white beta capes?

Or do they have to hope someone from the iOS version happens to have one merged already?

Not sure I understand? Android and iOS players will all be mixed together in game, right? So an android player would only need to befriend a beta cape to gain access, just as it is now in the beta, original beta’s helping new beta players gain access to get their capes.

I’m worried that it will be harder to find beta cape players in live to get access. I haven’t seen one person with a beta cape in live, much less having a friend with one. The smaller community in beta made it pretty easy to spread access too since everyone who went got the founders pack but I’m guessing a much smaller amount of people will be willing to pay what they are asking for that pack. And then an even smaller amount from those willing to pay actually getting to the office to buy it

I hadn’t considered it that way. I have a couple of friends with beta cape in live, but they rarely wear it so that adds another complication to the mix. You don’t see the cape, you don’t know they have one.

I wish people could just not be jerks. I love the glitchy table behavior. It makes it really fun to play with and people seem to get a kick out of seeing it, sitting in weird places and stuff and I hope that those blocking things with the table don’t ruin it

Most people do that to prevent people from activating the bell towers before burning up all the darkness that’s on the tower

You can totally go in, head to the place and then go home and change capes though.

1. Live secret beta discussion: I think the point of the secret being so well hidden is that it will be more difficult to access. Also the purpose I think of the high price point. The original cape was exclusive and I think they want it to signify that you’ve been around a bit and are highly motivated for the cape (long enough to find a beta at least). Not saying I do or do not agree with this—just my suspicion of the purpose

2. I had to fly directly into a krill today before it would target me. And yes, it was indeed super mad

I get that. My problem wasn’t with the plant burning, and I hate the manta activation when I’m busy doing other stuff so I totally get that too. It’s purely the blocking of the candles (or portals or anything) with the table. Using the table to restrict/delay/grief another player. That’s it.

Once you know what you’re doing and you know how things can affect other players... you (I certainly) work around to ensure they get to do what they are doing in peace. Prime example, make sure everyone is safely positioned before you hit the switch in GW, so little things like that really irritate me. It’s cool though. From another perspective, I suppose, it is making clear their intention at that moment and not to interfere. 😊👍

Today I saw what was apparently a “shepherd” indicator. It’s basically a long, pointed beacon above their head. She was at the table in the office (the room with the TV screen) when I was chasing down the spirit. So I didn’t stop to look, just noticed something glowing around a player. After I got the spirit I came back to have a closer look. A couple other players were standing around her at the table and I barely got a glance when she knelt down and warped. Otherwise I would have taken a screen shot.
