I’m a bit late to the conversation but yeah! To give you some context: Currently we’re testing another change to the daily quest system, and it seems like we now have more spirit or seasonal related quests.

This round involves the Performance spirits, and the quest is about helping the spirit with something. For Mellow Musician it was grabbing the comically large guitar from the rooftop

Sometimes, as a team, we also have to make decisions that are difficult and some important piece of feedback might be deprioritized for something else. But know that we're looking at every feedback report this group sends us!

That’s actually not true, but it’s important to realise too that the beta feedback channels are not “make a wish fountains”.

Developers gather feedback about how the game makes players feel, what motivates them, what doesn’t sit right. Beta players make up a small percentage of the entire playerbase, but that does not mean your feedback isn’t valuable.

There are countless examples of the game adjusting thanks to beta feedback - for example: Elder masks having the eyes added again, the DoC pants having that blue hue, the lowered pricing of DoBloom capes & rainbow cape, several UI changes to spells and other general UI, a ton of changes to the comment feature and shared space features.

There’s a ton of things in the works, and your feedback is always valuable.

That’s unfortunate, but please remember that it can sometimes take a little while for feedback and bugs to get fixed and implemented. It’s been explained here a few times that these things take time, and I’m sure that’s one of the reasons we see multiple testing rounds in beta.

There is no “we will see” it is a group visit with the cosmetics back, they stated in beta updates that there’s travelling spirits coming with Days of Sunlight, and that’s this group. The trees just aren’t added in yet, as to be expected with an early version.

On that same note- it was quite literally stated under “Days of Sunlight” as well, so that makes it even more likely to be a group visit

I would rather have shorter events that have a longer duration between them and items cost less event currency. The first few events were like 10 and 25 tickets max which was totally doable and felt a lot less like "running my legs off" to collect everything and worry if I'll have enough tickets etc. I would like to spend more time just enjoying the fun environments that come with the event and to play with friends with the new items during the event. Like not a lot of people had the items from days of nature until it was over same with days of fortune and then you don't get to really enjoy dressing up in the theme of the event because it's gone already.

See my opinion on this is that you can literally just choose to have fun and not care about cosmetics or candles. I burned myself out and quit for half a year because of what you said. But once I stopped caring about having stuff and started caring about having fun times with strangers and friends or just chilling and enjoying the game for what it is and maybe casually doing stuff, it started being enjoyable for me again.

I know sky's whole thing is creating FOMO and wanting stuff. But it really is something you can literally just choose not to focus on.

Lastly, the game is dry for most people without events. There's literally nothing to do for people who do enjoy grinding and collecting on the regular.

I do have strong opinions on the rate of currency obtainable vs how much stuff costs though

I'd love to see a bump of collectable candles even just to 25 instead of 20 (during seasons too - off season 30)

For sure, never against hearing other peoples opinions, but peoples were saying to literally leave the game if they aren’t happy. So at this point, it’s just not sharing opinions.

Peoples were telling me that « Just don’t buy this if you aren’t happy » « Just leave the game if you aren’t happy » well, I can still try to give my opinion before it release because that’s what channels are for, that’s what feedback are for. And I can do whatever I want with my spending at the end, so peoples don’t have to tell me what to do or if I should leave the game

Tbh even though this is a Sky server, it's still the internet and there's definitely gonna be people who don't know how to communicate effectively. And therefore simply disagreeing with something gets worded in a way that might come off as mean or maybe that's even how they think.

I do think Neptu has a point though. I don't see it in beta as much but on the live channels, most disapproval that isn't publicly agreed upon gets mobbed on with toxic positivity.

It’s just because not every event or thing they do is always good, nor always bad, but we need to share those though with peoples here. I think it’s also important not only to share with the dev, but with peoples around us that might think the same as you, but it would be more impactful to share and make feedback about what other peoples see or feel that you can’t necessary see or feel yourself

But it never happen before and I’m a beta tester since Dream season, and since dream I’ve never experience that kind of behaviour from anyone before recently (Before tickets currency was a thing) Never had issue with peoples sharing their opinions here

I personally didn't like the accusation above that beta chat are at fault for the way tickets appear grindy to some people - I feel like we can have discussions about our experiences without blaming people with opposing views for a game not being how we want it to be.

I understand chats might not always be receptive to opinions and it can feel exclusive and mean spirited if you see your points dismissed like that, but as a whole discussions that happen here aren't equal to feedback that happens behind the scenes of beta or overall in live so I'd encourage people to remember that

@hazy vortex If im not mistaken, the main reason is that not playing for an extended period results in your account being deleted, I remember reading this here; it mentions that if you dont log into your beta account for a specific amount of time, it gets automatically deleted. Something along those lines. Therefore, I think you'll need to wait for the next wave of invitations

To be honest, I'm still undecided. It seems like a nice change of pace for those who don't have much time for ticket collection, but I'm also worried that they'll start raising prices for tickets if they have both wax tickets and regular ones too.

If it was an optional way to make tickets, I think I'd feel a bit better about it. Like you can choose to collect, or you can choose to chill and get wax. Or you can do both and reach the items a bit faster

I figured as long as it's just for extra bonus tickets or impatient folk who don't want to wait days to collect enough for an item it's fine. A little weird, but fine. Especially as long as the event offers extra spells to spend your tickets on after you get your cosmetics. I think every event should do that. ^_^

If they don't keep it so we can get enough tickets to get the items and still have some wiggle room for missing days without using the ticket wax then it's no good though. ^_^;;
