Journey is great, yeah. Very fun having one companion the whole way through.
I also recently grabbed and beat Flower because of the steam sale yesterday, and I recognized the Flower easter egg in sky too because of it.

omg no way I just realized FLOW was made by TGC also!! I was having a terrible day in early spring so I googled "games to destress" or help anxiety smth like that (in middle of writing this I also realized they made flower too :000) and flower and flow popped up. @safe sonnet Also, seeker’s were more scary than krill (in my opinion) because of how they weren’t, “horror”.
It was just this imposing mass gracefully moving along, and then it just goes in for you.
The Krill’s sound design and theming is beautiful and is get this weird biology-meets-mechanics vibe, but I just feel they weren’t as imposing.

I love them both for different reasons.
I also could just be having rose tinted glasses.
But both games just have a different breed of fear and grandiosity.

Once you’re spotted, it’s impossible to escape.
They’re fast and their time to spot you is near instant.
It’s best to not be seen at all, but you can usually just run past the krill and hide in a bush for two seconds

I play PS3/4. Don’t know whether other platforms are more difficult. However if you really want the trophy, one method I have heard of is:

• Start a new game
• At Chapter Select, use the portal to the Snow level.
• Find a companion quickly at the start of the level.
• Continue with them to the end of the game.
• The achievement drops towards the end of the credits.

You have to spend more game time with the partner than alone. So if no one comes fairly quickly, start again.

Hope this works for you. Haven’t done it myself so sorry if not.

It's the map you start the game in! The pause menu has a "chapter select" option which teleports you back there. The portals are in the five structures around the gate which leads to the second chapter/map. They open after you completed the corresponding chapter at least once from what i remember.

first run cannot do chapter select. in game you do start -> select -> triangle iirc, the chapter select is the first level of the game. using those portals will not allow you to upgrade your tier by finishing the journey, only the center one lets you

Gameplay-wise, it’s Sky without spirits or friends (so no cosmetics, no emotes, no candles and hearts). World-wise, it’s in a desert.

Sky is a puppy dog that’s still growing and learning— it’s got new tricks up its sleeve and you never get bored with it; Journey is an old dog who isn’t learning any new tricks— you still love it and it knows how to give a good playing experience, but you’re not going to want to wear it out by playing over and over again. It’s best saved for a calm day when you want to relive an old adventure.
