In the Jam session you can play the weekly sheet with Stagehand and questgiver. It doesn't reward you anything. To activate Jam session wait for the Stagehand and Questgiver to walk to the flowers on the 2nd floor which can take a while.

In home you will see darkness shards at the top of the portal where they will be. Anywhere else you will get the screen notify saying that they have fallen (beta tester here). In beta it happened every half hour but in live it is yet unknown.

Ok, this confirmed my suspicions,

There r 2 shards, a hard one and an easy one, the easy one is on the main path of the kingdom and the hard one is in seasonal areas.

Hard ones reward you with ascended candles and easy ones reward you with regular candles.

You saw this here from me first!!!
