I just woke up (in the middle of the night for me) and realized I never saw the TS announcement so I looked and it’s Stretching Guru! Their cape is the main cape of one of the first players who friended me in the game, which was the first time I ever noticed a cape different from the main constellation capes. I wanted it badly but had no idea where to find it having not yet learned about seasons and traveling spirits. A year and a half later and it’ll finally be mine! (BTW, said friend’s main look is that cape with cargo pants, weasel mask, spiky valley elder hair, and don’t go’s guitar, which is a pretty great fit)

Why must hearts be such a challenge to obtain D:

I don’t know your strategy for getting hearts, but personally, I will just randomly spam hearts across my constellation when I have spare candles and usually will get about half of them returned. Not as cost effective as asking individual friends for heart trades, but it sure takes less time and effort. I especially make sure to do this when “give a gift to a friend” is a quest because I seem to get more back those days. I do like to be clear with my friends who I have chat unlocked with that they are under no obligation to return hearts if I give them one randomly.

Also, I try to avoid doing this on TS weeks. The best time seems to be late in the week after the TS is gone so friends aren’t frantically saving for the next TS yet and have had some time to recover candles after the previous one.

In all seriousness my advice to anyone who feels like Sky is negatively impacting their mental or physical health, or even if they simply aren’t enjoying it, is to take a break. Personally the main impact is that I just spend less time engaging with other entertainment media in my spare time and don’t care because I actually still enjoy candle running. I find it relaxing.

If I’m being honest FOMO isn’t entirely a non entity for me, but I try not to let the FOMO control my actions.
