A festive spectacle returns to fill the sky with colors! From 00:00 am January 24th through 23:59 pm February 6, guests (who players may recognize!) arrive in Home to reconnect and celebrate this year’s Days of Fortune.

︒✯⋅ Special Gifting - Allows a player to offer a gift on 5 hearts for 14 candles
Information About Special Gifting:

⋅ A special gifting node shaped like an envelope will also appear in the Friendship Trees of friends with whom a player has the “piggyback” interaction unlocked. This node allows a player to offer a gift of 5 Hearts for 14 Candles. This gift option can only be given in-person, and up to once per day per friend. The cooldown is separate from normal Heart gifting, so that while this special gifting feature is available, players can send a maximum of 6 Hearts per day per friend.

︒✯⋅ And finally, a box on the pier will also offer free fireworks and message lantern spells for the occasion, while the snow-themed Ball Spell can be found in the Secret Area (2 Candles for five spells).

Days of Fortune is open to all who have progressed through at least Hidden Forest. Please bear in mind that although the Auspicious Visitor and their friends first arrived in Sky during the Season of Gratitude, they are not Traveling Spirits during this event, so as guests for Days of Fortune they will not bring cosmetics and expressions to unlock from a previous Season.

__ As always, trial spells give players the chance to try event cosmetics and IAP for free. Visit the Sleepy Traveling Merchant for trial spells of 2022 items, and the Event Staff in the Secret Area have a box with free spells to try items from previous years!__

Not to be a sour pus, but the newer cosmetics are so unpolished. Tiger mask weighting is not done proper, if you move you can see the right corner of the mask around the lips moving, and fish cape clips too much with lots of pants. These all feels so rushed

And I was very much looking forward to the tiger mask and fish cape but... yeah.. I hope they fix the mask at least

The main issue is it hardly changes, and while the zones are gorgeous they do get tiring after 20th run through following the same route. Especially when you already have to do them for dailies as well, and dailies hardly change too

I liked the sfk at geyser method. Was it stupid? Yes. Did you just not play for profit? Also yes. But the alternative was just much worse

They've fixed it a little by adding grandma, social light areas and seasonal lights, but that also just brings more attention to the same issue — gathering the original way is boring

It's kinda strange the game is more than 2 years at this point and still don't have a daily log in system to entice players to at least just relog daily, only the daily light/quests which requires you to go to those realms and do tasks/cr again

I highly encourage you to play the season regardless since the quests and seasonal area are 100% free!! but the thing that matters most when deciding to purchase an AP is whether or not you really like the AP-locked cosmetics [ults or reg spirits] or want more buffer time to 100% what you can

All seasons have quests, all you need to do is interact with the guide at the season area (in this case, she's at the boat) and tap the "!" icon

Yes it is different, you can do all quests for free in sky-the only thing locked behind the Adventure Pass is spirit nodes [with blessings, cosmetics, music sheets, props, etc] and bonus candles
Your friend may not have met certain requirements to start the quests, though I'm not sure off hand what those requirements would have been

My guess for what could have happened, assuming your friend was looking at the flight questgiver tree, is that there are two spirit tree "paths"
One [typically on the left] has ! exclamation points for completing quests. The second [typically on the right] has the season symbol + the seasonal ult cosmetics/props. If your friend had clicked on the season of flight symbol then she would have received the "you need AP for this" message, whereas if she had gone to the area and clicked on the ! at the questgiver in the wind paths then she would have been able to do the season quests normally

very fortunately, all old quests can be replayed! So your friend can go to wind paths now and play through all of the quests at her own pace
