I have some trouble with that one too, usually find it's easiest to stand on a large jellyfish, flap up to use all the wedges, then fall directly back onto the jellyfish with no energy

On this map, there is an arrow clearing showing the entrance to the area. It's missing on the map of the tunnels. It's okay though, I'm pretty sure the entrance is south of tunnel 1 -- I will check it out in-game later.

I'm not sure if my route is the same as yours, but what I do is meditate at the vault's summit, Chibi fall to the slope beside the Eden portal, slightly fly to the right (you must be careful on this part, otherwise you will encounter the server barrier), and then fly around the area looking for the floating island where the Vault elder cut scene can be found.
