I think you're referring to two different places?? Today's spirit is in graveyard with many krills and crabs around as well, and the spirit is by the campfire area. The place with the doors that open is battlefield, aka the area right before u enter the temple.

To anyone struggling to relieve pleaful parent spirit and have chibi mask+ pipe, u can dodge krill by placing down the pipe and sticking close to the pipe where the krill can't see u. Hope this helps

Actually the krill repellant is still quite helpful even for it's short time Deb. If it spots you, you can just put it on while it lasts. It will just pass you or spot you and try to krill you but once it goes towards you, it smells the repellent and just does a u-turn like "nope"

The quest IS possible without getting attacked by the krill but knowledge of how they move around the area is needed

You do a normal krill dodge steer turn thingy but you do it late allowing the krill to hit you with its front side and not its direct front allowing you to get flung a few feet away but if you still have some light you can use that momentum to keep flying or something idk

I soloed Pleaful with the help of Crabcall’s pipe, but the crabs nearly ended me in the last section— pipe shield vs krill, unpipe so I can move again, get knocked over by crabs , scramble back to dropped Pleaful, get spotted by krill, hide in pipe, repeat over and over with almost no time to stun crabs away

I absolutely hate it when these spirits are included as dailies. I lost several winged light, my friend did as well, and all for nothing because it faded out right before the very last part as we got krilled and thrown. Never again. I would rather skip out on one sc then go though this again.

Can confirm: It's possible to solo the spirit on today's quest using chibi + pipe. Have krill spell ready if needed. WLs don't explode everywhere. You can scream at crabs safely from within the pipe as well, then remove it when they stop running at you. Hope this helps someone.

So the spirit is in the second part of gw, the graveyard 🪦 with lots of krills and it's at the entrance of it you fly on the right side and you'll find the crab barbecue 🦀

It's a hard one (i used 2 krill repellant spells and did it 3 times AND THEY WERE WASTED)
I suggest you ask for help especially for the crabs on the way
