Yeah, this season does have some things about it that are different to past seasons, and most of it comes down to the fact that it's a collab with IP that is owned by another company. So TGC is not the only entity making decisions regarding the content. If they want the permission to use the copyrighted content that they don't own, they need to comply with the rules that the IP holders set for them as well

I don't mind the IAP's since those are only optional and mostly just one item. But the amount of SC required to complete a season just feels getting more & more expensive.

I honestly think it's still worth it to get a pass even if you can't complete the season. I think most folks here missed out on their 1st season's ults (I'm one of those folks )
just prioritize on unlocking items you really want.

2. dusk home - 8/10, not that accurate color (balances too warm) but still nice visibility
3. prairie social - 3/10, don't even bother looking at brighter cosmetics, terrible green tint, dark cosmetics are suffering, too much bloom
4. forest social - 1/10 what is this 2012 contrast, we're looking for visibility and we're not getting it, look at the pants?? color accuracy who???
5. valley social − 6/10 sacrifice visibility for that bloom, more artsy than accurate, darker cosmetics suffer, does work for some combos
6. gw social - 7/10, very good visibility, I just don't like the blue tint and flatness of color, makes yellows quite cold

If you purchase the pass, you'll get 20 seasonal candles upfront, you get an extra candle each day that you can collect from the shrine in home space, and you get access to the left side of all the seasonal spirit trees so you can get all of the items and not only half of them

You will also be able to get the seasonal hearts at the top of the spirit trees and use those to get the ultimate gifts from the quest giver

Also the pass only counts for one season, from the time you purchase it until the season ends. If you want a pass for another season in the future, you will have to purchase the pass again for that specific season
