You're in the 2 player door yeah? I think the reason why that happens is because of Sky's dynamic lighting, the lighting designed for inside the 2p room to outside is supposed to have a bluish tinged compared to the lighting if you're in the other parts of the area. Dynamic lighting in the game is heavily reliant of your camera angle so if you position your camera like that, the game registers it as you exiting the room. Though the transition from the bluish tinge to the normal one is very sharp, probably wasn't given enough thought since it's quite insignificant? Compared to the other ones (see the gradual lighting transition from inside the Isle temple to the outside or smth)

But eh,, I don't know much about dev stuff. The lighting in Sky really is fascinating tho

It was also that way that Sky had a very realistic flare to it, like how everything would suddenly be bright when you go outside from a dark area like the rooms in the prairie village, very much like real life
