The broken bridge is the main area before the temple. The spirits are at the beginning

By the fast tree, holding only a single, lonely winged light that you probably already collected, on the right when you step up to it's entrance, the tree isn't as lonely as the winged light, there's a new tree, with cosmetics hanging up, down, and inside. Two spirits hidden around its base are awaiting you, glowing with orange light, contrasting with the greens and blues. A giggle, a daydream. This word guide was not helpful.

But as far as I can tell, seasonal candles can only be used with the seasonal spirits constellations to get the seasonal hearts and use those for the ultimates. The other items might use regular currency.
