It was nice starting out with water, that was fun. I liked the race aspect of that one, racing is also why Valley of Triumph is one of my favorite levels. My least favorite was the ice/air level. For the fire one at the end I was listening to music so I wasn't paying attention to any audio cues, I forgot how big sound is in the game. I died a few times lighting candles, but I enjoyed the Fire Trial, also because it was a dark level. The first and last Trials were my most favorite.

The trial of fire was so much easier than I expected, I've been through it a few times now. Was expecting tears like air gave me

The first and last levels, even the maze was enjoyable for me. Air was my least favorite as well

Personally now that I've run through them all a bunch, My favorites are Fire, then Air, then Water, then Earth. The last two are kind of a tie. I like sandboarding through the downhill sections of the maze, and the water trial is fun and relaxing to run through.

But fire is so good. I love the visual aesthetic, music, and sound effects so much, and the concept is great. So disorienting the first time through, but after a few runs it's just fun.

@muted mauve you need to open the door in the ceiling, which requires two players. Both need to burn the switches at the bottom of the steps. There is a vase full of butterflies up on a ledge in the little temple. If there aren't butterflies fluttering around already, fly up there and burn the lid to the vase to free them, then stand down on the floor and call out. They'll lift you up through the door in the ceiling.

If you don't have enough wedges to fly up to the vase of butterflies, there's an elevator which can be activated with a switch up on a ledge to the right of the room (if you're standing at the door facing in)
