The best advice I've got for the fire trial, 3rd floor, is that the left wall is your friend. You follow it and it will take you to all the safe spots and the right path.

@minor zenith - Nastymold's YT video is very helpful. The key things to remember are 1) there are multiple false paths and you need to find the right one (esp on level 3), and the smoke monsters follow the same pattern over and over. Usually if you're at a save point or a "safe" candle, you want to wait for a monster to pass and then move down the path as fast as you can.

Good luck! The trial can be disorienting and kinda terrifying, but it is possible and after you run through it a few times it's actually pretty easy because you know which way to go.

@minor zenith if you spam deep honk it can actually let you see the smoke from the fireballs for a short amount of time, also try not to walk near the smoke and figure out the movements of the fireballs before moving to the next candle

☝️This. If you hold down on your sky kid to let out a big honk, you can "see" farther away, not only the smoke monsters but also get a better lay of the land. It's like sonar!

Yeah, third floor is rough. One thing to note is that like on the 2nd floor, there are "safe" candles, but they aren't groups of 3 like on the 2nd floor. You just kinda have to figure out which ones are safe. But you also don't necessarily need to wait at them if you get the timing right when you leave the checkpoint.

basically, there are candles layed out in each of the 3 levels, you need to follow and light the candles as you move on, if you walk away from the candles, you lose an ABSURD amount of light and you die. theres also fireballs that can bounce off the walls in level 2 and 3. i would explain more but like it would br an essay

its impossible to guess a ts’s cosmetics’ prices, so i wont venture there, but even if you have what you think is enough now, it is advisable to candle run anyways. the excess candles (if you have any by the end) could be saved for the next ts, which, in turns, should hypothetically lessen the burden in the future

You just have to get the timing down. When you're on the third level, from any given checkpoint, stand and wait until one of the monsters passes by/through the path you need to take, then run like hecc (stopping at each candle of course). The problem is, there are some false paths, so you'll have to do it over and over until you find the right one.
On the second level, if you want to be super cautious, stop at every triple candle and wait for the monsters to cross the path you need to take and book it to the next triple candle or checkpoint.
