Ok so here is the thing: im not having fun. not even a little bit. these trials are so HARD and i think this one is the HARDEST. it is unnecessarily hard. i'm not having great time. i'm just angry all the time. and for what? one winged light? oh ok. also seasonal spirits are giving the beautiful things with adventure pass. so what? if you don't have adventure pass just cry and watch others having cool stuff? thank you. cant believe i waited days and days and days for this trial. im dissapointed. sorry for negativity. ily guys. but anyone feels me?

When you move forward don't go at full speed (unless you're running into the wind), when you're at a "walking" pace you can change direction easier

Thats the thing; its inconsistent which i hate in games like these. I tried everything from changing how i flew to changing the angle, velocity, and where i jumped on it from and every time it gave me different results thats ridiculous

Yeah, it was weird. I actually thought I had really messed up bad because the exit wouldn't work at first. I knelt down and it started the animation and sound like I was about to exit and then nothing. I nearly screamed out loud. @worldly oasis - definitely would be satisfying, but it just feels like completing the triple jump would have to involve an insane amout of luck. Like the distance the wind boosts shoot you varies so much, sometimes you auto glide sometimes not, the direction you fly seems to vary, the camera angles are often useless...and so on. There's only so much you have control ovee. Taking the shortcut is a classic case of "work smarter not harder." I find that satisfying, personally.

Trail of water isnt that hard. Both trail of earth and air are ok until the last part of the trail, which is very hard.

@opal ember No, not exactly. Read the following spoiler at your own risk: ||when you go through Eden, you lose your WL. You then can go and collect them all again. Eden resets weekly. So you can collect all the lights every week if you're dilligent||

One of the things I actually, unironically love about the trial of air is that it brings me back to old NES and even Atari and arcade games with super annoying control mechanics that forced you to repeatedly die over and over again until you get it right. Although I gotta say, at least with early video games, the control was extremely consistent, even if it wasn't fluid or intuitive, so once you figured those games out, you could complete them flawlessly. I don't think even the most skilled player could consistently complete the Trial of Air without falling once because of the multitude of factors out of the player's control.
