If you are having trouble you can stand next to the quest master with your candle out or go to prairie and the moths will fight to light you up. Usually it's about three tries for me so first try was nice.

So I was in the Golden Wasteland and headed into the seasonal shipwreck area, right? Just a normal every day photoshoot before the event ends, yeah? You know how when the ship enters the seasonal area there’s a mountain the ship goes through, I thought it’d be a neat photo area so I started my photoshoot, as ya do. Just as I finished photo 2 black flakes started to pour down over me, I thought nothin’ of it and just as I was about to do another photo a krill flew over me. I panicked, startled, and flew away immediately before it saw me. Is it there to protect something? Or is it just there because it’s the Wasteland? Scared me a lot lmao

Cyan Light: located at the very end of Isle of Dawn (easiest way to find this is to go to Daylight Prairie then head backwards toward Isle from where you spawn after heading through the Prairie portal. The light is in the clouds)

There is also no set time between seasons. It takes as long as they need to test things and get everything working. Typically between 1-3 weeks but it could be shorter or longer at any time.
Unless something is officially announced in #news it's just people making guesses and spreading misinformation.
