Lore chat here! The catapult was likely used to fend off the krill. Wether by launching rocks or people to distract it
Others theorized that the catapult was used by turban man to launch the spirits far into the realms (which would either desipate the storm their presence calls, or hide them from krill )

Name: Season of Forgiving/Forgiveness
Theme: Banished spirits seeking forgiveness that only you can provide, since all the spirits are dead
Gameplay: complete quests or find items for each spirit to make up for their crimes, and allow them to be forgiven
Spirits:
Spirit 1 and 2.
"Twins"
A pair of delinquent twins involved in the sabotage of the battle at wasteland. They were banished after destroying a statue of the king. They did this out of anger towards the king, after the king sent their parents on a long journey, of which the parents never returned. The disappearance of their parents angered the twins, and field their hate for the king, thus, after the sabotaged battle they finished things off by destroying a stsrue of the king to symbolize the kingdoms down fall.
To complete their quest, you help them rebuild the statue of the king. This allows them to be forgiven. Afterwards, they see the spirits of their parents, and forgive the king, allowing for them to return to the constellations and stars.

Yes they have been doing so 🙂 and they keep doing their best. Just because bugs happen or the release was later than ios doesnt mean they “forgot” anything. They have their own restrictions, they are a small company that keep striving as far as they can under constraints you do not know about. Be considerate about this.
Reminder that ios had to wait too before the final version finally came over from beta/light awaits. Same as android who got beta first and then got live version.
Reminder that the bugs ios experienced at the start of the global release were huge and difficult to deal with, bugs that android users never had to experience because tgc fixed it.
Right now both ios and android experience almost the same bugs.
I see no single situation where “android” was forgotten.

If you have the intention to refer to the crashing bugs, graphics bugs and specific bugs that have been on android it lately, then save it because ios too experienced those at the start. Platforms are hard to adapt, both platforms have different operating situations.
If youre also going to refer to seasons missing out, (despite my repeating that it was difficult to adapt a totally new platform to their gameplay) that’s exactly why there are he travelling spirits, and of course the message where they are working on getting the ultimate gifts back somehow. And honestly, several ios users who are new players also missed seasons, does that mean they should complain too? Because honestly that’s the same situation. If youre gonna say your choice was ripped off of you then maybe you should consider how hard it has been for tgc to actually develop it in the first place and how hard/hurtful it is for them that despite their efforts to do their best, their name is trashed in a sentence like “Lool forgiving the devs for forgetting Android users?” instead.
If ios was patient enough for the bugs to stop eventually and not say “tgc forgot ios”, then android can too.

Also regarding the responses to your earlier comment about Android, you may have accidentally struck a nerve. Unfortunately there have been some very vocal people claiming that TGC has “forgotten” about Android or “only cares about iOS,” simply because Android has bugs or missed out on past content. In the process it comes off as completely dismissing all of the hard work the devs put into the game, and grows very frustrating at times. Your comment struck that nerve again, so people reacted. No hard feelings about it though

Oh the green light will be there so long as you haven't collected yet. As for where it is:
Green Light: located in the Birds Nest area of Daylight Prairie. The Birds Nest is the area to the right of the Butterfly Fields (the first area of Prairie with the large spherical rock structure) behind a constellation gate (the area with the floating islands). You may need to wait a few minutes for the manta the light is on to drop the light and/or get into range so you can fly to the light

There is one under the ramp when you first enter broken bridge area, the other one is to the left of the bridge near the cave
The quest basically asks you to free the manta stuck in dark plants
Burn the plants around it to free it

I really searched it for hours, too, you go at the end part, where the brigde is broken, on the left there is a cave with the cry emoji, at the entrance of the cave there is a manta stucked in darkness, if you don't see the manta just go home and come back and try again till you see the manta
I think I tried 4-5 times before seeing the manta
- make sure to have your wings filled with light because if you don't finished the darkness the manta flies away on his own and you have to try again (happened to me lol)

@ionic jewel the seasonal candles locations have two rotations for each world, the rotations alternate each other, if rotation 1 is today then rotation 2 will be the next for the next time the quest world is that specific world
The candles cakes locations are per date, each date have its own associated rotation however some rotations repeat.

Today I just remembered I had to spend some seasonal candles on the spirits with the adventure pass capes bc I'm just obsessed with capes so I decided to get it for a cheaper price when they come back. I saw every ts we had usually makes us buy the level 3 emote so I spent some seasonal candles on the emote....so that when they come back I dont need to spend hearts (most likely hearts) on the level 3 emote and jump me directly to the bigger items (like cape)

I said I'll collect every candle possible but....I missed out on 10 or so candles either: I forgot to collect the reward for daily quest (stupid me), too chicken to do the krill quest (now I'm no chicken) and the "send a gift to a friend" by the time I activate the quest I already sent one to a friend...I realized it ain't worth to spend another 3 candles for 1 seasonal candle. I learned my lesson that the instant I log on I activate daily quest before anything else

You get seasonal candles specifically for that purpose. When you wait for them as travelers you have to use the regular candles. Now a cape may cost 20 seasonal candles. From a traveller it might be 65-75 candles.
So I'd say you get a better deal right now
I think there even is a chart around what things will cost so you can look up what to best spend them on
