Nothing changed. You do need the emote to get level 2 headpat though. As TGC hotfixed the bug where you could get lvl 2 without getting it from the spirit first

Yeah it’s possible with the door in valley. All the quest really wants from you is to open a 2-player door. Not necessarily doing it with someone, though that is easier SkyLOL

Krill become less scary when a) your iPad audio output has a broken headphone part stuck in it so the audio doesn’t work so you can’t actually hear that heart-shaking screech when it attacks you and b) when you realize that you can just grab the stars before they like disappear and that even if you do lose stars you can just get them back again anyways and c) you’re just for some reason so chill and can’t be bothered by the krill atm and c) you have a good friend to fight krill with

You can open any door that requires 2+ players so anything in vault and prairie count for the quest. It’s not limited to valley when that quest shows up TGCThumbsUp @versed apex

That quest in general is a pain sometimes. A door opened might not register as quest done. I usually jump into prairie to do my door quest since people need to get through those doors.

Seasonal quests in the boneyard give me all the heart attacks! I’ve only just got to the point where I can explore that area without freaking out but when there is a seasonal quest the krill are all angry and hyper vigilant because they’ve spotted players all trying to pick up candles. I got the candles and meditated but now I feel like I need a nap. LOLz

Once you fly to the door that leads to the battlefield, head towards the wind tunnel and hug the wall, you should find it pretty easy that way.

I usually carry umbrella there, I did test it in all worlds on different terrain. Yes, the rain is a factor. Other than that, very reliable as long as you have light to light it and plan where to place it so it doesn’t end up on a wall or ceiling. Still usable on there just more difficult

Idk if a dev will read this, but after coming back and seeing there is now a log+fireplace item this season and how so many players with myself included mentioned how something like that would be great to add. It's something more natural and coherent to the gameworld than an ikea table and makes me really happy to see that the suggestions are thought about and considered.

Not sure if this is the same for other capes, but I noticed that you get a wavy pattern on the inside of the dark blue seasonal cape when a wedge is almost fully charged. The pattern gets less crowded as the wedge is almost charged too.
