Yes, it's a real circular problem, getting to a level where you can do a red shard without throwing wings and not having to pick up every winged light. At least for me. I am medium skill, highly determined.

at this point recently I've been going with a friend and we have a tradition that on touchdown we start circling the constellation pad in the cutscene because the game forces you to slowly get up but lets you move around and it looks funny

I only ever run up to 150 and then maybe a little over, so I just perpetually hover below 170

it's actually fantastic because I have the max buff count so all I need to do is pick up buffs I see on my usual CR route and it's done, don't need to go look for anymore (and since the max is about 130ish, just need to find an odd 20)

with red shards, it's about pspspsing friends to come help you when it's a difficult to solo one 🙂‍↕️ then your survivability rate goes up a lot higher lol

but also make sure to wear an elder mask to those ofc

they are a time investment for sure, but their benefits:

• glowy
• you take no knockback from crabs, you don't get sent flying
• tank 2 hits from crabs, 1 hit from krill

they're also useful for doing eden runs but I haven't run eden without a mask in so long I forgot how it is, but you definitely don't take knockback from the rocks there either (until your mask breaks)

1. FURNITURE DYEING
Furniture can now be dyed, akin to cosmetics : they will be able to be placed in both shared spaces and the nest.
You will be able to dye your furniture while placing it : no need to go into the dye workshop

2. AVIARY UPDATES
The design of Aviary Village is being revamped, in order to maker it more seamless and easier to explore. (They understand that the changes are pretty sudden, and ask for more feedback)

3. SPIRITS
Spirits in Aviary will now have additional idle animations to make the area more lively, including doing emotes.
(also, the realm for daily quests will now be indicated by seasonal candles in front of the portal, like the treasure candle realm)

4. PLAYER FRIENDSHIP SYSTEM
Update to the player friendship tree, to be similar with the new friendship tree of seasonal spirits : buying emotes are no longer the only way to grow the friendship tree with a friend.
With this update, the anniversary of you and your friend (when you two first became friends) will now be indicated while looking at them in the constellation.

So 4 daily quests are administered, you can get them assigned at the cafe or that Zelda looking statue in Old Home.

And everyday on that statue thingy, one bonus season candle is given if you have the season pass.

And in the realm where daily tasks can be completed, 4 candles lying around can be found, each one filling up 1/4 of the season candle guage.

Collect 4 to forge an additional season candle.

So 4 quests + 1 extra forged =5 SCs per day.

With season pass, 6 candles per day!,
