Ok so... I am absolutely living and loving the Days of Nature hype mood. I am running across realms making eco/environment related fact, awareness, and tips posts and just... visually representing what me and many hope for with all manners of ocean fits.

But the number of unsavory moments and harassment I've been getting since last week is absurd. It's more than just draining my mental energy, so much I end up distancing myself from others and cancel out on content creation related stuff I wanted to do.

Hi, I have a question regarding the telescope on the hill above the Days of Nature guide. It showed me some place in Golden Wasteland (Crab Fields I believe) and then the Guide says you need to investigate that place because that's where the pollution comes from. But when I go there, there's nothing special to see or do? Any idea on this?

Because there is nothing to do there. Using the telescope concludes the gw investigation

The guide even says source of the pollution is from gw but the problem is too big and will take too long to solve

So we stick to saving sanctuary and prairie peaks

It can be very hard to tell from the outside what is hard/creates a lot of data in programming. Aurora means loading a lot of people to everyone but with festival tech most don’t see their unique outfits or emotes.
The dyes means at all times storing, for every player, for every dyeable item in their closet, a record of what combinations they have unlocked (out of more than 8^4 possibilities for items with two slots)

I'd say so! They're a simple set of pants and the shirt portion can be dyed. It's easy to coordinate with other cosmetics, especially if you lean more into modern or street style with your outfits.

The only downside is despite the appearance of the feet, you can't wear shoes with it. It's sorted into the shoes-attached part of the closet.

Starting to collect bottle wax data: today I did microdarkness first, then bottles. I think I got full wax (15 orbs) for the first 6 bottles, but only 5 or 6 from the 7th bottle, and nothing after. If someone could confirm those numbers, or see if you can do much more if you don’t do microdarkness first, that would help. Otherwise I’ll try one of those tomorrow

What should happen is you must press the shovel button multiple times, until you dig up a bottle. Then you press the hand button to pick it up, then when you are close enough to the spirit, press the hand button again to pass it to them.

Just trying it today, if I pause and let the shovel disappear, a bottle sometimes appears a few moments later anyway, after having dug only once. You could try re-entering the area in case something didn't load properly the first time.

Candle wax will be made bigger in order to make it easier to locate and collect, and to make it proportional to the amount of wax you get
Interaction buttons priority will be modified to avoid accidental inputs with multiple players around (aka avoiding lighting players or opening the friendhsip tree).

2. THE PRESENCE SYSTEM
New feature, similar to Festival Tech : upon activation, you'll be able to see players from other servers in a single area, and join your friends in another server through it
THIS FEATURE IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT : when 33.0 arrives, it will be only be usable in Aviary, and for a limited amount of players. More areas and players will come in future updates.

3. CONSTELLATION IMPROVEMENTS
You can now switch to a "list view" of your constellation, allowing you to see all your friends without the 110 constellation limit, as well as being able to unfriend multiple people at once.
NOTE : in the video, it showed that the list view had a 2000 friends limit.

my guess is that they'll see you in their presence system as demonstrated in the video. Their ability to join depends whether the server you're in is full or not

Its a great feature and i doubt it would be a flop, i think the elevator is the only problem i can think of, was pointing out because i saw people excited about it on situations like the elevator and it might not go the way people think it would

Since Devs already mentioned it is a feature they're still working on, and will not be readily available for everyone since day 1, but will be progressively available, I'd keep in mind bugs and issues are verly likely.
But the more the community prepare bug reports and respectful feedback, this can help improve the features.

Not really, the whole point of them showing you the pollution is coming Crab fields is that the site is SO large and pumping out so much pollution that unfortunately there is nothing we can do can to fully stop the corruption from reaching Sanctuary it's kind of a hopeless note to end on but we'll see what happens next year

In this framing, events like this one, where you're supposed to feel like you could affect some progress feels dissonant from the fundamental design

I feel like they had to close off with the whole "Darkness returns because of Wasteland" because they had to conclude the event activities in some shape or form, so you just replay whatever you want.

I definitely love last's year's Nature event more than this one as it introduced gigantic Worm, Elder Manta flying nearby, microdarkness (pollution) and rescuing light creatures.

This year, the new event is just bottles and lore on why darkness returns each year and that we gotta keep pushing back no matter what.

It's a placeable prop, whether it's worth it is subjective. Some players enjoy collecting props to create shared spaces.

props (the blue sail and the clam) can be displayed if you put it in shared spaces/your nest, or if you bring it with you as your back prop

i'd recommend buying the hair first, because it is something that you can wear (and thus, all other players will be able to easily see it, unlike props)

however, if you do nature quests every day, you will be able to afford every EC item from this year's event. so, why not grab them all while you can?

(if you don't buy them this year for free with EC, you'll have to pay candles/hearts for them in subsequent years)

First conclusion from counting bottle wax: this sucks to count. I should have expected this somehow, last year’s nature was also hard to count.
If you join me, watch out for bottles that give 6 rounds of wax, or 4, or 5 rounds of just 1-2 orbs each, or random wax sitting under the sculpture after you arrive in the area. I would love someone to double check for these reasons

I think we’re looking at around 600 wax, which for me was across 42 bottles. In a few hours I’ll check but my guess from yesterday is microdarkness is the same pool while peaks “shard” is not

In summary, I believe 600 wax is the combined pool for microdarkness and bottles. Microdarkness should get you 500 of that, then you can get the last bit with bottles.
