I have this bug occasionally. I have never done piggyback and it was seemingly random except I noticed that For No Reason I Can Discern (tm) Checking the map In the area after Eden would make it dissapear after I finished an eden rotation... for at least a couple days

Oh, I see now, it seems to reappear only when you login to Sky, but as soon as you go out into one of the Realms, it disappears from the map

I wonder if this decision is led by the rampant iap scams and exchanges. If the prices are known earlier the scammers can plan very carefully rather than on the spot as the event starts which would've limited their time

Players are more inclined to get the iaps right away rather than waiting for third party people to do the job for them once the event has started

Plus the prices are standardised so its easy to estimated. If a cape is an iap we can safely assume it'll always be 14.99

TBH, it's mostly not just about IAP's since these are the only ones they show a price of (albeit almost always sent late at inbox despite them saying it will be sent close to season/event start under 31.0). It's the IGC prices not shown until you eventually get in-game when event starts.

Usually, they are by the constellation table, near the Nest/apartment building.
If your friend starts up sky, they should see a kneeling spirit with long hair by a constellation table.

If your friend is on the 4th quest, have them check near the large door in the side of a mountain(Eye of Eden)

My friend just stated playing a few days ago and spawned at Aviary when started playing. But there is no hopeful steward anywhere for my friend. Not even outside of Aviary where it was when I did the season

So I think things have changed and it seems that guide is missing for really new players.

you land and then you light the statue that is hopeful steward

and you have to progress in revival's questline to even unlock the portals

...does your friend have aviary set as home? Hopeful steward only ever is in Aviary. During the season, they were most likely near the realm portals in home, as with all season guides(excluding non-spirit guides, such as Void of Shattering, AURORA , and Vault Elder's Lantern[Two Embers]).

Hey guys! I was doing the friendship tree for the Lightmending Pioneer and i got to the part where i meet them at the vault of knowledge. But when i find them at the fractured lantern room, i still get the same message! I looked all over the vault to see if i missed anything but came up empty. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

i’ve only done the one for light catcher so i’m not too sure, but for me when i was in the fractured lantern room it gave me a message that said they wanted to meet me on the 4th floor of the vault, i don’t rly know if this’ll help but maybe go back to the room to check if it gives you a similar message? if not i’m not too sure what you should do😓😓

4. The Crystal Caller (Quest 4)
   A bell-like device that, once activated, makes all fragments honk for 15 seconds, with a 30‑second cooldown. At least two of these are usually available, which is helpful if you run out of honk before landing, and one of them is on cooldown. The honk makes fragments easy to spot, but if a fragment is too far from the device, it may end before you reach it. Unlike guiding beams from The Fragment Finder, the honk doesn’t pass through solid structures, so obstacles can block most of the view.

5. The Portal Platform (Quest 5)
   A simple portal that teleports you to its paired counterpart, and vice versa. There are at least three pairs in each lantern area, each leading to different destinations. Using them improves efficiency, since they reduce the need for long flights and save wing lights. All portals look identical, with no distinguishing marks, so you’ll need to memorize which portal connects to which location.

6. The Descent Diminisher (Quest 6)
   A flat platform that emits a blue glow. When used, it grants everyone in the lantern area a 15‑second anti‑gravity effect, allowing higher flight, slower descent, and longer airtime. After activation, the device enters a 45‑second cooldown before it can be used again. This shared effect is especially efficient for flying, makes traversal smoother.

If it is at all similar to the last tournament, winning gold will award the spirit of your choice one more point towards victory than winning silver (which awards 2), or bronze (1). In the grand scheme of things, the difference is probably not that relevant.

It's... a bit steep honestly.

The Torch helps in Vault, lights up the maze in Valley temple and other dark places. But recharges very slowly and gets extinguished.
