either someone else had cleared it up before you arrive (an indicator would be the bonfire spawn wax that you can collect) or visual bug. if the light creatures are still visible, you can just save them without the oil spill.

You can visit the big fish in treasure reef, just swim down until you reach the abyss where you rescue that spirit from the quest

Tho, the big fish is harmless and just swim around (since it was sealed/blocked by a barrier)- it's very dark too, so maybe use a glowing spell too

Anddd make sure to stay near the fishes so your oxygen doesn't depleted and ya starting to lose wl

The shard memory distribution seems to vary from time to time. There are times that every second shard day it‘d be elder memory, and crab only every few months. Now it‘s crab almost every second shard, and no elder since march. They’re not distributed evenly sadly

Heart earning system is a horror for newer players. On one hand, you gotta have enough hearts to buy emotes from spirits , then again, you gotta give hearts in the constellation to unlock perma wing buffs. Not to mention heart expenses in seasonal guides and events.
