Just in case it helps anyone else, my friend who dye runs a lot in Wasteland noticed that if Abyss has black dye, then the other areas of Wasteland tend to have some too (less than Abyss but still some). But in an hour when Abyss has none/ very little, the others tend not to have any either. It might save some time to know that.

And usually lucky hours have too many everywhere almost equally

when you're burning a plant with a group, deep callers are the worst because it takes much longer for the butterflies to settle and actually collect

especially if I'm already in the middle of emoting, deep calling won't give me all the butterflies and there's residual that will not collect until later
