While personal goals and perspectives can be different, I didn't want to use much black dye myself, but I like hunting for them, it's exciting and gives a variety to the usual everyday farming process which puts the gameplay to a whole new level. The fact that part of the player community is involved gives an additional sense of doing something together which is icing on the cake!

No they have a point. It's a problem of people intentionally breaking the butterflies consistently, like they repeatedly deep honk even though the plants have already burned. It's also the problem that comes from certain players

It sounds like they're aware that it breaks the butterflies, and would do it just to mess with the other players

It's a combination of game mechanism and player behavior. In the less busy testing servers this problem didn't come up that much or the feedbacks came a bit late about it.

Like you deep call for butterflies to lift you up and you deep call to knock crabs out
Now you deep call to break the vines? And some areas it’s impossible to not deep honk and suddenly you’re either lifted in the air because of one random butterfly, or you’re summoning dye butterflies when you just want to knock crabs out…
