It's a collaborative website. Plants reset every hour so there would have to be someone else that submits data within the same hour for it to show up on your end. Which can be difficult since the website isn't very popular right now.

At the very least all data submitted is saved and will be used to look for patterns behind the scenes. If we find any, then we can start to make tools and infographics that will show accurate data similar to Plutoy's amazing Sky Shards website. Right now there's no found patterns but we do appreciate everyone who contributes data. And if more people start using the website during their routine then the chances will also go up that you open the site and see plants that someone else submitted for the hour!

Oddly blue dye acts like subtractive colour that when mixed with yellow it results in green instead of off white as theorised by RGB additive model

I've been thinking about those dye plants that are dark and don't give butterflies, even though you haven't collected them before...
I'm starting to be convinced it's connected to how much you've been color running the area. Like I was camping in prairie peaks, just logging on once an hour to do it over and over and suddenly medium/large plants are giving me like, one butterfly, and I'm not capped on any colors or anything

I can see where some come from regarding rarity, but I don't think the same. Personally, I don’t find blacks to be all that important; I rarely use them myself. It seems like the idea that 'TGC wants us to grind' can really vary based on individual perspectives about games and life in general.

The point of looking at the poll is not usable in practice, because TGC has to compile a patch to change something in the game several weeks earlier if they wanted to, because of the 5 weeks long app review period by some platforms.

And also I saw a very good point on this server that naturally base colors (yellow, red, blue) are the most abundant, and the others which can be achieved by the combination of them and exceptions like white and black are more rare naturally. This makes sense from lore by itself too.

Plus, there's that interesting psychological aspect where the rarer something is, the more people tend to want it. Just my thoughts!

Oh yeah you can actually mix some dyes to result in similar secondary colours (such as yellow cyan and magenta), off white is easily achieved by missing 3 specific combination too so I think the rarity makes sense

Well it depends on the thing being paid I just tried with the bear hug emote level 2 for instance, and above 4 selected candles it jumps to 14 (the number of candles required to pay) and ask if we want to confirm the payment
