you can try the trial spells from aviarys event shop, but its basically the same as normal flying with a different animation
the umbrella is like other umbrellas, you can hold it, and it protects you (and the people youre holding hands with) from rain

For me personally, explore and experience it firsthand by yourself cuz playing Sky for the first time is always a magical experience and spoilers ruins it unless you don't mind being spoiled. I'd say just explore at your own pace, no rush. Ask for help if you really need it like if there's something that confuses you or you're stuck. Tbh, the only tip I'll give is that don't feel pressured to buy every cosmetic and everything from events and Traveling Spirits, just ones that you think you'd like to have. Grinding candles too much can lead to early burn out. Sky is a chill and relaxing game, don't let things stress you out and enjoy the scenery, reliving spirits and exploration.

when a black shard falls on prairie, a second black shard lands on Season of Moments' area- Prairie Peaks.
however, this extra shard only gives wax if the first Black Shard lands on butterfly fields (first area of prairie when you go there), anywhere else will make it not give wax

Just tested: cauldron seems to take 1hr 2min of afk to max, i.e., from xx:01 to after finishing the next xx:01 eruption. So, if cutting out the downtime, it specifically takes 9 full eruptions to max.

That seems pretty great for 1k wax, no?

Depends how far you are in Assembly quests. Completed ones basically fill the area with birbs and large jellyfish as well, thus with no rain, it´s defo easier. Rain tho ...

I went with my friend to Eden after visiting the event area and had accidentally picked up the tiny spell, which I never use but realize I love!
Has anyone else tested going through Eden past pnr using the tiny spell since it only worked for me for, like, 10 min through the beginning section of Eden and I didn't have more spells? I notice as chibi, I don't get hit by shards as much and was wondering if going as tiny might help even more. 😅 (Noting that everything might seem farther to get to, however.)

Let´s just say that red was pretty easy, since it was a Bird Nest red, thus just floating shards ... but as an ant chibi, it was definitely more exciting because due to your hitbox being so unbelievably small, you can literally dodge close calls that would´ve hit you even as a chibi.

As for Eden ascension, I went the full traditional way and honestly, aside some annoyance with the wind, it was actually really interesting, since there´s a lot more places to hide from both rocks and Krills. 🤭

Honestly, when it comes to light collection, I found out that the easiest way to get them is to stand at the very center of the plants with light in them, so that its leaves block the charging Shard Crabs. 🤭

Isle of Dawn has been optimized for years by TGC to make it the most simple and flat tutorial realm based on a lot of measurements and statistics they are logging because by their stats and of course objectively if you're thinking logically that's the area where most players abandon the game. Engagement is the most important goal everywhere even going beyond online gaming.

Once you get the hang of the game it's easy to memorize that the first realm doesn't have dailies. But if you leave the game because of too much confusion, that cannot be reversed.
