My reason for guessing Brook is the "boxed" part. That looks like one of those little "shrine" buildings in Brook, and there are none of those in Clearing. The closest to it is the arch in the beginning, and that isn't an arch. Too dark in the back.

Yeah, that STUNG. I was 9 months old when it happened too. I fought tooth and nail to gather 200 candles, had to sacrifice many a TS item to afford those pants.

The DAY after I bought the pants, Juggler came, and I could only muster 80 candles in all. I had to choose, and I chose the cape. Wouldn’t see the rest of their items until years later

This happens because you haven't relived the Forgetful Storyteller's memories for the first time yet. Once you do, the daily quest will be available. You can find the spirit's location here:

Claiming the Daily Quest Reward

After completing the quest, you can alternatively claim the reward directly from the daily spirit instead of in the Home Shrine.

💡Notes for the daily:

1. Switch your camera to "Selfie Mode."
2. Adjust your position and wait/observe for the bubble to appear, indicating you’re in the correct angle/range for taking the photo.
3. If it’s too difficult, you can still go to the daily spirit to claim your reward after taking the photo, even if your character does the "no" () emote.
