oh no you can run 20 candles a day, you can still get a little over 5 more candles after the chevrons run out

you can get up to 24/25 during the off season

off season you can get 20 candles + 4 from dailies. chevron system doesn't really change, and the current double light week helps fill your candle meter faster

i've been able to get to 20 candles within an hour and a half of gameplay before, assuming you're working alongside the social light schedule

Yeah my route is praire, geyser, forest, grandma, harmony hall sheet light, dreams, valley temple, and a shard event if im online during that time, and i usually get 16c from it all. And within an hour. I thought this was efficient but how do you get 20c in an hour in a half? I mean im still collecting the seasonal candles at 4 dailies, 1 bonus and 1 from wax, but those 6 a day i get wont count for my white candles in time for the event since it ends the same day as the season

hmm...one major difference i see between my typical schedule and what you've said is the fact that i tend to do at least one of the races in valley each day? i'm also not a stranger to just popping into the game throughout the day to go catch extra social light

i also kind of just base my routine on the daily quests and the treasure candle realm, i always run the treasure candle realm

another thing i'll say is that i feel like most of the light in daylight prairie is concentrated around sanctuary islands, so especially if prairie isn't the treasure candle realm it's not gonna affect you too much if you skip the rest of it and just go to sanctuary

forest is always amazing because it's got the second highest base amount of light you can get from any realm (first being valley), plus grandma, plus the sources of light aren't spaced out too far from one another. basically always run forest lol

a tip that i give to friends who are learning candle runs is that while golden wasteland may not be the best realm for candle running, it's absolutely not as bad as most of the sky community makes it out to be. if it's between running wasteland and running trials, i would always suggest wasteland, especially if it's the treasure candle realm or if it's a sunday

i do acknowledge that i have a bit of a personal bias for golden wasteland, i like that realm a lot
