I didn't get daily quests after logging in. A dozen server error popup later they appeared and I could accept them. It seems like the client tries to verify stuff with the server and gets some sort of error.

Most of the world data is client side like the whole map and all but gates, quests, wax, darkness plants... That's server side data so it doesn't spawn

Running around for half an hour today was kinda funny when I look at things with my programmer hat on

Usually devs run a local DB on their machine for testing, then there is a Production Database Dump (usually outdated) for staging and a more recent dump for Beta. Some Beta servers are configured to use the same data as live (mirrored) but then still handle it on a different DB server or import data sets on demand when a player registers for beta.

There are SO MANY THINGS that could be different and make it nearly impossible to make sure ALL variables are identical

I think the client requests the status of your progress from the server and when the response is missing, the client assumes you haven't seen it yet but knows you have unlocked it. The data for progress of quests and progress of "have I seen this" are stored differently on the server and client

I think the biggest problem is that TGC is aware of the issues and they still haven't said anything about any compensation even after more than a day of the problem persisting. If I knew for sure that I'd get my 6 seasonal candles, 21 normal candles and the 6 event tickets that I can't play for right now, I'd feel more at ease and less frustrated about the server issues. But since there's been nothing, I have to assume that we're not getting anything, meaning that I'll miss out on those candles and tickets. I need my daily 21 candles for the shattering spirits.

Yeah, there's a bug affecting the claiming of quests, where you can get extra candles. It seems to be due to the quests saying it's completed multiple times. Kind reminder to not abuse this bug

If I'm remembering correctly, a similar bug happened last season where you could claim seasonal candles almost infinitely. TGC individually looked over the accounts and removed the excess amount of candles that were over the daily limit

If I see someone at the door and there's are other people in the server I will wait. But if no one come to help us I'll use the share memory that opens the door

Lately out of the 8 times I've gone to vault on the second floor, only one time I've had people help me open the door. And that one time I just happened to have a friend with me. All the rest of the times people are using the shared memories and shared spaces, even waiting for a server merge for more players didn't work cause they would also just use the shared memories.
At that point I just chibi fall or don't go to vault anymore
