I think i came up with a theory as to why Dancing Performer has not made their return in 2-3 years! (likely known by the older players in here)

When the spirit was first released during SO Dreams, their hat and accompanying cape were credited as being part of Korean culture; this upset a TON of players as TGC promised us to keep their cosmetics religion-free, culture-free inspired and yadda yadda.

The company's response to the intense backlash was, quote:
"We did not do a thorough enough evaluation of how our cosmetics may impact our global community, and unknowingly included a garment with historical significance between different regions,” — “We commit to doing better going forward."

As upsetting as it is, it would make sense for them to not bring the spirit back to avoid making their player base go crazy again. While it may not come again, there are plenty other cool spirits who will make a return, and please remember this is just a theory trying to explain why we got another dreams repeat TS instead of the one that has never before returned.

As a trombone player, I have a question: why are all the woodwind instruments sustained notes only? Like they're suddenly incapable of playing a quarter note? Does no one at TGC play instruments? Because this seems like a big red flag that they don't. It is ABSOLUTELY infuriating and makes me not give two craps about this event because what's the point when the instruments don't work like they're supposed to.

I don’t know if any said this to you yet, but the Violin dose have sustained notes. You can use a free spell for the violin and try it. (You can hold down a note and it will last longer). For staccato, if I understand it right, if you tap the notes quickly, you will get that sound/effect. But I’m not sure if this counts as staccato.

I asked this before but didn’t really get a response… is it worth it to buy spells from tickets? (Since there seems to be a cap on how many you can get.) is it capped by week? Or Day?

I think it’s somewhat worth it for the Shared Memory spells, since you can get hearts for players liking them. Since they cost candles or hearts to buy, getting them with tickets seems like the best option.

There are a max number of tickets available per day, and therefore a max total you can get across the whole event. I’d only buy spells if you’re absolutely sure you don’t want the sax or the band hat, or to use up leftover tickets once you’ve bought them. I think someone in this chat has already calculated that you’d need to collect all 13 tickets on all except a couple of days to get the items. If you don’t want the items, go wild since tickets disappear after the event 😛
