It’s not a new location, it’s the place at the top of the elevator, it just got a makeover. Tasks: || wear the correct color and stand next to the active crystal of the correct color to make a colored light ribbon connect from the crystal to the center. Once all the currently available colors connect, a bubble will appear in the center and give you some tickets for the current event (special event currency). There are more of those bubbles around the area and another bubble next to the daily rainbow candles and another in the woods near the campfire. ||

As soon as a color reaches the center, a 4x bubble will appear. Each day, a new color appears, and we need to get each color to the center to get the bubble, so since we’ve just got the green color today, we need all four colors to reach the center in order to get the bubble to appear.

Yes, the bubble from the rainbow activity tends to be bugged, the easiest solution I've seen is restarting your game and going back, it worked for my alt who had the same issue (my main has never had it happen fsr)

So for the normal spirits (non-seasonal) I believe you need to go all the way through wasteland to the temple at the end, light teh shrine, and it will free the spirits into the sky

I havnt freed a base spirit in years, but thats what I remember

I am not enjoying the color puzzle at all. I can't interact with other players because they disappear or afk. I spent 90 minutes on the puzzle before it finally completed.

I left feedback. I'm just frustrated right now.

The color puzzle is quite buggy atm, that might be why you're having trouble. A simple restart fixes it right away, though. I personally haven't had any issues with it myself (except this morning when I did it on my alt, I got the bug and had to restart), but hopefully the devs will fix it before the event ends

Sometimes just going home, waiting a bit and returning to the event area fixes the bug and you can finish the rainbow activity

It's a misunderstanding that the memorial is for the prince. There was a member of TGC who passed away a while back and the memorial is dedicated to them. It just happens to be located in the starlight desert

It pretty much depends on your connection (to have server merges with players in other server instances). I live in Europe with 170mbps dl speed and 16ms ping and except first day it completed in no longer than 3 minutes. Maybe restarting your game or router should help

Go to the color geyser and get the color you need as in the red green or teal some of the colors aren’t finished and they show up as a broken line you have to use the colored cape and stand next to the platform of your color

it is supposed to be immediate, but there is some kind of a problem with the quest where it is not. There is no telling if/when it decides to acknowledge you, unfortunately. If it takes too long, try leaving and trying again later or turning your internet off/on

(that is assuming there are people of corresponding colors on each platform simultaneously, of course)

This might not be considered a problem, but when I go to the Rainbow event area the rainbow platforms are always complete when I spawn in. I see the cutscenes and get the large bubble…but I feel sad that I don’t get to take part in the grind for this reward.

Each day we get a new color until it’s all filled up all you have to do is play and fill the colors that are there and collect the tickets/bubbles each day

Hi sorry for ping.

Speaking of tickets, I’m in hell…
They were supposed to be in the event area as well as the “find the rainbow” quest. However yesterday I found one in Brook in the most unexpected place; I thought it was a remnant of testing’s first iterations.
Anyway, after ~~wasting ~~ spending 45 minutes a day on ticket hunting, I’m still nowhere near 12 a day. Is there a guide or something that could help me save my sanity? (I bought the spells as well).

No worries the only time there are 12 a day or extra tickets is on the weekends every other day we only get 8 and the quests I believe there is a rainbow in Daylight prairie and another quest of one in the forest

There's a bug in the event area, where completing all rainbows does not successfully trigger the puzzle to complete itself. Return home, then use the Return shrine to get back. You should find that when you get back, the puzzle is complete and there's a bubble in the middle of it.

I did return home.
Warped back to the area. Couldn’t move and suddenly I found myself underneath the elevator.
Home again. Teleport again.
This time everything was fine and after about 10 minutes the event got triggered.
Bubble earned. 👍
But 90 minutes wasted time was a bit annoying. Hope this will be fixed.

Ten days to go, plus two extra at Forest Campfire on weekend days. Which means there's a minimum of
10 x 8 + 2 x 2 == 80 + 4 == 84
free tickets to be collected. Most people already have around 50, so there is plenty of time to save up 104 tickets for the dark cloak.

That’s exactly what I said about white candles

and it takes much longer to find all the tickets when you’re not sure where to look. Trust me, I’ve been playing this game for over 2 years, I’m in severe burnout and I was hoping I could use my painfully grinded stash to allow myself a little break. I’m at a point I just want this season to end because the dailies are killing me.
I know everything about burnout…

(This new currency is just one on top of the others. It doesn’t free you from grinding white candles for the rest of the stuff. We had to grind white, orange, AC. Now add tickets.)

What would REALLY help is lowering the candle cost of these capes. It’s just ridiculous.

I’m not sure I follow that logic, you see: what’s the difference between grinding 104 tickets or 104 candles? Going for the cakes, you can grind 10 candles a day while you do your dailies.
TGC is trying out new things, I guess we’ll have to wait and see what they decide to keep.
Personally I love the double cake events because that’s a very effective way of cutting down on grinding time.

I'm a "relatively" new player (just over 6 months), and I don't have a hoard of candles. The highest I've ever had was in anticipation of this event (Days of Colour) because I had heard of how expensive the cape is (and they weren't lying...). I dislike the new currency system, for an entirely different reason than having to grind another currency, and that reason is it gives TGC an opportunity to inflate prices even further than they already have.

If the rainbow clock orb comes back next weekend (and my math is right), you'll be 1 short at the end without spending ascended candles. However, I'm betting there will be more themed dailies that give +4 in a day, so I'm sure you'll make it as long as you get all the tickets you can (8 per day, 10 on weekend, +4 with themed rainbow dailies).

And then make specific shards heave specific memories so you know where to look
