And today, the 23rd, the Bugged Memory seems to be Jellyfish, the same as the correct one, and Hermit Valley has one Shard Variation

So, I think THAT is what's happening

Hey, i experienced that too (android player here!), everytime it would just send me to the sanc guide and when i called none of my friends were there- i had tried both throughthe event guide with them and constellation, so im guessing theres a bug currently thats making warping to certain areas difficult?

It's the hotfix, switch players don't have it yet. It's causing issues tp'ing to friends in Isle and Sanc

From what I gather, a hotfix was put out to tweak how the game handled large servers in Isle of Dawn. All platforms have received this hotfix update except the Switch. So now Switch players and non-switch players are mutually exclusive both in Isle and the Sanctuary Islands until Switch also receives the fix

The different Bugged Memories on Switch happened when Mobile and PS was also on 0.21.0, same as Switch

I agree that vortex is getting tiresome, but mostly because I'm tired of having to follow the manatee thingy every day, waiting for it to slowly float to the vortex so the boat and circle will show up... Just let me start already! Trigger the boat and circle as soon as the manatee is released, instead of when it arrives!

how strange. when i reach the vortex and it loads the cut scene to show the area's title card, the manatee seems to be at the vortex after that. maybe it's a glitch! i'd send in a bug report #bug-reports-playstation just to be safe

For me, I've flown to the vortex every day except the first (didn't know where it was) and today (figured I'd stay near the manatee), and each time, the title card doesn't even show up until the manatee arrives. And only when the title card shows does the boat appear. It's annoying.

I've parked my Skykid both right next to where the boat shows up (oddly enough, I can see where the circle is when others sit in it, so I know where it is) and in the middle of the vortex, but the boat and circle refuse to show up until the manatee physically arrives and triggers the title card.

Think I'm gonna change my routine... Release the manatee before doing geyser, so it's there when I get to the vortex...

Ohh, that definitely seems weird. As long as I don't skip the cutscene of the manatee initially flying out to the vortex, I can just go straight there to see the boat and trigger the title card. (Switch player, for reference.) I'd definitely send a bug report, like Magpie said

You're only paying to get the pass items sooner (and utls)

Also it's worth within itself for the bonus candles. Even if you don't spend them they will convert to regular candles so a pass is one of the best candle packs so to speak (30 as a starter, one free candle at home every day)

I tried that, and... It's effectively the same situation. I still have to wait the ENTIRE time for the manatee to reach the vortex. Main difference is, if I don't skip, I have no meaningful control over my character, with the tradeoff of having something... "moderately" interesting to look at.

By the time I finish watching the scene and gain meaningful control (and by that, I mean know where the heck I'm going), the manatee is already close enough that, by the time I get there, it'll be there, too. So it's basically the same situation, I just don't have control for most of it. It's incredibly frustrating, and it's kinda bad quest design, especially for one they expect us to repeat every day for... nearly three weeks...

Other way to get to the spirit just in case is through the windpaths forest cave exit, follow the birds until you see the ledge you usually enter from, and drop down to the normal entrance. Doesn't need a second person.

My best advise for going through the tunnels under the main island is go through the one you see from the actual entrance first, STOP midair after the tunnel and turn around and keep going though tunnels until you take the one that puts you up by Nav's Island. Turn left and go through the last tunnel there to end up in front of the guide

Dang, that's really frustrating... At this point that definitely sounds like something that needs to be changed for a better player experience - #bug-reports-playstation if you haven't already and #live-feedback too, just in case.

As much as I enjoy the thematic importance of the quest and the new light creature, the steps to complete it aren't signposted well at all. So many people are confused and frustrated, which is a sure sign that improvements need to be made. Sorry that it's been particularly frustrating for you, and fingers crossed that TGC listens & adjusts how it works

This is weird. I free the manatee, hit the !, skip the cutscene, and fly straight to the boat. It shows up every time. The hardest part is actually landing in the meditation circle and clicking sit instead of the other players or the fisherman. (On switch anyway)

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if the boat would just be there permanently once it's been triggered the first time. I would be absolutely fine if I can't actually start until the manatee shows up as long as the boat was there, because other quests in the game are like that. Gotta wait for x event to happen or y spirit to arrive for the circle to appear.

I think I will write something in feedback... Likely won't do any good, as I'm probably the only one that has an issue with it, but at least something will be said.
