I just had a lovely moth experience while doing my wl/cr.

Been doing dailight prairie when a random player with cool hair, clothes and the current white'ish bloom Cape joined me opening the door to the spirit and befriended me.

They then grabbed my hand and after a short honking we continued on my way around prairie. I took them all the way through to sanctuary to all spirits cause I thought why not. I'd take a free wl uber too. When I later went through my friend constellations to send them daily light, I see a cute little moth looking at me...

That supposedly mid/endgame player was a moth in disguise with spells and I helped them complete all prairie wl and lots of candles.

This made me very happy in hindsight

This one only showed itself only for Android Players who were stuck on the 0.18.1 Update on 20th August, while Switch and iOS were on the 0.18.5 Update which they had the Front Variation

Well, 0.18.5 was the Update for the second half of Shattering, which added Swirling Shards, (which are a nice challenge) it also added, downgraded and removed some Shards too, but it also changed the Shard Variations too

Try learning the shortcut. It’s gonna be painful at first, but once you get the hang of it, you can easily finish it within 5 minutes or less

i strive for not using shortcuts to get through the trials simpky because they should be hard to get through

I didn't complete enchantment quests in beta because Ark has different music before completion. It's a very atmospheric prelude to the completed Ark music and I love it

Yeah, I’ve made a lot of discoveries about how the butterfly event works in conjunction with the krill

It’s a mega-server with hundreds of players, but you’re still in a server with 8 people, that’s coinciding with dozens of other servers.

You’ll only see the krill target and attack people in the same 8p server instance as yourself, including you
You CAN lose winged light as a butterfly, and they’re next to impossible to recover before they disappear, as your butterfly self floats gently above the clouds - your winged light do not
Because the krill’s behavior is specific to your 8p server, you could get spotted, join a nearby player in a different 8p server, and reset its patrol path in this new 8p server as though it never saw you
