Question about burning trees: I used to be able to dive-bomb the Graveyard tree and if no other players were in the server it would burst. Great hobby, I enjoyed it.
But that became impossible one or two updates ago and I haven't been able to burst a tree since.
Did TGC deliberatly change that? I haven't seen anything in their patch notes about it.

the tree "bursts" when you server merge into an instance where other players have already done the work to burn it - however, people very rarely do that anymore because of the increased risks (no krill tricks) and decreased reward compared to sources like granny

if you join friend whose room with the tree already burned, you still can see the tree become candle light suddenly when you get closer

that too, in general it's just more difficult to gather the help/effort needed to burn the tree there. few people in general visit wasteland since the wax reward/time ration is very low compared to other realms

I see what you mean but it seems unlikely because I was able to do it every time I did Wasteland, which would be nearly every day. I would fly at it and it would burst as long as no-one else was around.

between the need to have others help, chevrons making it so that you aren't even missing out on much, the more profitable areas like grandma and the idle areas, the loss of krill trick making it risky... graveyard tree just doesn't get burned anymore

at least in battlefield the game tries to push you with another person and the gate stops activating unless you get close to it, so it's easy to get it done

regardless of your experience, there is just no way for darkness plants to burn down without a skykid doing it with their candle I very well know that experience you describe of it just suddenly turning into wax - I used to wait for the tree to pop every day when running gw a couple years ago. it can still happen on this update as long as you wait long enough/get lucky with your merges tho now waiting by the wl ledge usually leads to merging with afk-ers at the crab roast place rather than a burnt tree

I'm also in beta I was just specifically trying not to imply I knew the prices because beta content is not to be discussed outside beta channels including prices and content of upcoming events that haven't been announced yet. the "maybe I will have enough [by then]" comment was more for myself because of disabilities, candle running is difficult and I get maybe 2-3 candles a day on good days. They kinda coincide with Polite Scholar when you relive their memory on the 3rd floor. As you follow their memories, you can light little white candles, and trees will grow in those spots.

Then as you complete the memory, a great BIG tree grows straight through the building you’re standing in 👀

I've been playing a year and I think I went to Eden... 4-5x? I find recollecting all the WL very tiring so I don't go often, especially now we can get AC from shards

Eden has turned into an ounce of a chore, what with the elder masks costing ludicrous amounts of ACs, but one comfort I can take in my weekly Eden runs is always finding the opportunity to mentor and guide any less experienced players I may find on the way up
