I wonder if they’ll give everyone a bonus candle because of the problem with the daily task. It’s not a big deal for veterans with a lot of candles saved up, but it could mean the difference between being able to buy something you want from the next TS or not for a moth.

Yeah dude this is even worse than the old hold-hands-in-a-group-of-four-players task because that one was just difficult. This one is impossible. They really should have had all of their ducks in a row before changing the shard schedule. A lot of people aren’t happy about not getting shards every day as it is, and now they do this to add insult to injury.

I’m not necessarily saying that that shouldn’t have stopped making shards fall so often (even if I wish they hadn’t), just that they shouldn’t have put an impossible task in the dailies. If they knew they were going to change the schedule, they should have removed the task from the list of possible daily tasks. This would be like if there was a task that required you to visit a holiday event location, or buy something from a TS, even when those aren’t accessible. It’s like getting a daily task for visiting the days of mischief cave during April.

The ones who helped me were mostly not vets but had more experience in Sky. But I only truly asked for help with wasteland (poor light, and krills) and Eden. I did not mind doing the rest at my own pace. I enjoyed not rushing but discovering many little things... some by pure luck like fairie ring and the rainbow. Some help me with a few escape routes from below the ground at forest, though, which I am grateful for (had a tendency for months to fall below the floor while CR there).
