There is also the fact that these sprits are different colour form the normal ones meaning there could be different colour spirts. There could also be ones missing arms or legs or look like their body has been broken like glass or been infused and combined like a science experiment

Yes, definitely! I didn’t start Sky till the last few days of sanctuary so I don’t have that one, though in addition to the ultimate manta cape from Shattering, I like the baby manta cape a lot, which goes well with Rallying Thrillseeker’s manta suit and is a little more similar in style to the sanctuary manta cape.

Updating it every day right at reset (especially when some people's reset is AM) and for the rest of Sky's existence is unrealistic for the majority. Thankfully we have Clement, who is the only one updating it actively daily alongside daily quests guides, but a lot of people are busy with work, school and life

Some just also wouldn't enjoy camping in sky everyday at reset and making sure the timing is 100% right and double checking it, I'd get tired of it pretty quickly

Hey have any US players seen a red crystal event this week? I’ve been playing every day this week, different odd hours every day, and have yet to see a red crystal event. Considering filing a bug report based on community response. I am in the US, EST zone and have checked every day at odd hour intervals this week and have not yet seen a red crystal event.

tgc did mention that the first week of eruption would consist of more stronger shards (red crystals) and it will get weaker over time (weaker shards—black crystals)

you can check the shards forecast in #vault-of-socials to sort of predict what shards will appear in which realm

ok then that just seems incorrect, especially for players that paid for the season pass. they introduce a new story objective, but you may not be able to fulfill this within the same week if you don’t randomly receive the objective triggering event that week? I understand the points that you’re making, but do you see what I’m saying as well? not having any red crystal events at all this week in my time zone, especially for other players that paid for the season pass, is problematic

I mean, paid for the pass or not, the randomization here is incorrect. I should not see that a new season pass event is available if I’m not going to get the triggering event to fulfill it

to add on, it is possible to complete all the three quests (so far) in one single red shards event(the shards last for 50 minutes so you can technically go back and forth the questgiver to take & complete quests)

pro tip, thanks for that. like I said earlier, I am familiar w how the red crystal shards should work, but I have played every day this week, and at multiple odd hour intervals, at the :45 minute mark, per the official release schedule for my time zone, and have yet to see them

and I was able to fulfill quests 1-2 early within the weeks they were released as red crystals appeared multiple times per day those weeks. it is only this week that I have not seen a single red crystal drop

if you had visited the shards’ landing area every 2 hours you must’ve also noticed that the colors never changes throughout the day

For Example: If you guess Black, it will be the opposite, and you’ll guess Red, but only the Colour will be reversed, so for example: if I guess, Black in Village of Dreams, it means I’ll be guessing Red in Village of Dreams

Each Day (in UK time) I will say whether it’ll be a Normal Guess or a Reverse Guess

And that’s it, now this update to my Shard Guessing Game might sound crazy, but what do you all think?

I can vaguely remember, but iirc only one of those either locations could burn the plants. However I can still remember that the burning progress is definitely in sync — for example in the image, if the shard where there's the dreamsguide have its plants burned but the one near performance isn't, both will be "completed" even though it's only with the dreams guide that got burned. So yeah, idk it this makes sense xD

I could probably shorten that basically the medi would activate for both locations at the same time regardless who could or could not burn

And oh, I could probably find a screen capture but the friend sitting on that shard medi you won't see will be teleported to the shard you can see, and will be back to their corresponding medi spot

Ah i found my archive for this shard. Thankfully it isn't a beta record lmao. Though I had it uploaded on my yt cuz it was over 100mb. And then at one point I hugged the sanc guide because why not xD (insta recharge too)

I tried to research on tutorial, most of it said we can complete it by burning the red shard. Tho ive done multiple red shard events, it still doesn't count as completing it? Do i have to go to a specific map to complete it?

You should sit on the meditate spot that appears when the big red shard breaks, the bright blue shard will appear and there you can go to its memory.

if my rough calculations are right, you are about 64 candles short

There are two types of Shards: Red and Black

Black Shards are less dangerous Shards which rewards Light when you burned enough Darkness, some Black Shards can have normal crabs, but you can’t complete Seasonal Quests while it’s a Black Shard

Red Shards are more dangerous that some have Shard Crabs, which can’t be flipped over with Deep Calls unlike normal crabs, in addition there will be a mini-activity where you have to collect fragments within a given time, completing a Red Shard Event awards you with Ascended Candles and you will be able to complete a Seasonal Quest with a Red Shard
