It took me a bit to get used to navigator's cape size (tho, iirc, there was also a bug with sizes back then too), so baby manta is an adjustment. Maybe in the future I'll make an outfit for it

I prefer longer capes, so capes like shaman's fluffy white one, guru's orange fur-lined one, the baby manta cape, angler's cape, etc., are reserved for specific fits because I'm picky x.x

Same day same place, but it disappears sometimes. It erupts around the same time as the sanctuary sunset.

Ok so the entire season is 386 candles. You’ve already spent 97 candles toward completion and have 17. 386-97-17= 272 more candles needed to complete the season.

Since you have the pass, you can get 6 seasonal candles per day. 272/6 = 45.33 days => can finish the season in 46 days. The season will keep going for 60ish more days, so you should be able to finish the season with more than enough time!

for this season? you have to go to one of the fallen shards, burn away the darkness, do the little mini-game of collecting light, and then the diamond-shaped season guide shows up for you to view a memory. you'll see the first one if you haven't viewed it yet, and you'll view the second if the 1st is done

as for ALL spirits, there's youtube guides a plenty

1. the top emote can be used to complete daily hugging quest when none of your friends are online. It can also be used to instant recharge your wings energy to full capacity

2.iirc, the cape that the guide is wearing is an ultimate gift—so you can’t get it anymore( this season offers a similar looking cape tho)

If you have the pass, it will take you a minimum of 60 days to get enough candles for everything this season, unless you purchase extra candle packs

if you buy the pass, you start with 30 and are guaranteed 4 a day from quests, plus the free candle at home for passholders, and the one you can get by finding all seasonal candles so you can get a maximum of 492 candles with daily play this season. since you only need 380-ish that gives you a lot of leeway for missing a few days or quests

My advice is to be choosey about what you get from traveling spirits. Now that I’ve been playing for a while, there are only two potential TS whom I’ve never met, but several who still have one or two items I didn’t buy the first time and I’m glad because it gives me something to look forward to!

That’s pretty impressive, when my first traveling spirit came, I had like 5 candles 😂. I’ve bought out my fair share, but the ones I didn’t, it was because I was working on the main constellations and I have no regrets.

Same, especially before the daily light system made it possible to get a fair amount of candles without running through every realm. Definitely always get the wing buff, hard agree. I missed the wing buff on my very first TS ( provoking performer) because I had never been to Eden and didn’t know what I had to do to unlock the top half of the tree.

Black shards are active now. I went straight to the event with chibi mask, for testing reasons, due several players reported having too much wind in the area. I did not noticed any wind at all where the shards landed (yes, more than one shard had dark plants), at the left side of the entrance to the Prairie's Temple -near Koi Pond-, not at gound level not with flying dark plants. So that wind may have been a temporal bug.

when you are standing on the temple's roof there are windwalls at the sides. You may even get stuck there (i did some experiments in that specific area).

The best way to go down is by the middle, going to the bridge that leads your sky kid inside the temple.

ok....just saw some crazy stuff while testing only the wind at Prairies temple ...from another point of view. I took a manta to check where it left me. The manta dropped me at the entrance bridge. went to the roof...stay there a few minutes and then....I don't know how....I saw dark plants with no black shards (only some very little red ones).

they just vanished. but not sure if that....OMG as I am writting....more dark plants appeared! lol. this new plants are redish.

I went inside the Temple, waited a few seconds while collected wax, and when I got out...everything had dissappeared.

Manta dropped me at Bridge.

and those are the "phantom" reddish dark plants.

I might be ignorant but I just logged into Sky today for the first time and a long while and Im not quite sure how one “starts” Season of Shattering. Like is there a quest line or am I just looking for something to burn and what and where do i find it???

This season is a little different from the others, basically there are shards that fall from Sky to the realms periodically (Today's is Prairie Temple. times are pinned in #questions-and-help) and seasonal quests can be done by cleansing the realms of red shards which only come every now and then, we don't know when we'll get them since it's random but we've only had black shards recently, and thus you can't do the quests

The Kingdom of Sky refers to the world as a whole, so it's basically saying that you have to find the shards somewhere in one of the realms. However you cannot complete the quest today because the seasonal quests require you to complete red shards to actually do them, and today there are only black shards

If you mean the shard events, those tend to happen about 45 minutes to an hour after reset and then every 2 hours after that. The schedule is in the pins of #questions-and-help and is updated daily with the exact times
