Basically they dont make new spirits because they want all the spirits in the game to be somewhat memorable on their own, if you added More and More and More seasons and More spirits that familiarity with the ones you knew before would start getting lost and you would end up not really connecting with spirits as much as you can do it now

If youre somewhat of am old player i bet you can remember most spirits and seasons at least with a bit of coherence, thats dunbars number

If it's a common complaint from the community that everything costs too much these days, increasing minimum wage and allowing people to earn more candles per day is probably a smart idea. But no. TGC just cares about your play time and how much real money you'll spend on new pretty and shiny objects. Every company has the potential of using predatory marketing strategies, and TGC isn't immune to it just because their games are objectively good games
