I don’t really mind the outfits of this season. Not a fan of any of the pants because I prefer to wear baggy pants, but I like the capes! Especially the long one. It has mostly black but the purple part is dyeable and black is a neutral color which makes this cape suitable with any pants as you just need to dye the purple. In tlp’s case, it is a let down that it’s not dyeable due to copyrights issues. the little prince’s capes would look so good with a gradient color

As I remember (it's been awhile), a lot of it came in regards to a problem of people showing odd treatment towards those wearing "vet capes" — the Phoenix Cape ult from dreams being one of the worst, as well as recognizable silhouettes from old seasons. I didn't know the Sakura Cape was also part of that group of capes though. I mostly just remember people being weird over my Phoenix Cape

Maybe some of my dislike of juggler stems from the fact that when i started sky and rhythm started, i didnt know the difference between seasonal and regular spirits so i counted juggler as one of the spirits i had collected. So i was really confused when the citadel wouldnt let me in

A lot of it is the imagination aspect of it. People love what they don't have because their imagination fills in the gaps for them. People imagine all the things they can do with a cosmetic, but unless they have a specific reason to care about the cosmetic, they'll move back to cosmetics they care about or what's new.

Also, a lot of TS hype insanity had to do with the TS hint game. For those of you unfamiliar: Ash, one of TGC's concept artists, would come here at some undefined point on Tuesday and share hints about each TS as per a folder of headcanons she has about different spirits. Because no one quite knew when Ash would show up on a day, and because the hints were vague and relied on either vibes or knowledge of obscure trivia, the hints made people extremely excited. There was no way to know for certain if you were right until the next day, but oh boy did people become convinced they knew what it was gonna be, because their mind could latch onto the uncertainty and that made it more exciting. Now that there's a way to actually have some confidence in whether or not you know what the TS is if you know Sky well enough, it takes out a little bit of the psychological gambling dopamine high people would get from TSes... but it also stops the fights people would get into over them, too

A mix of things.

1. It wasn't actually part of Ash's work responsibilities, but a thing she would do as a fun TGC community engagement sort of thing. As people started to get more demanding of Ash's time without realizing that she was doing it because she wanted to, not because she had to, coupled with TGC getting bigger and busier, it started to become this thing where Ash was getting a whole bunch of cold-pings and DMs throughout the week, including while she was working, in the middle of meetings, or on vacation, and it got to be something where it wasn't fair on her for this fun event she started to become an aggressive obligation for her.

2. It was also fairly soon after the time that Tio was hired, in which case Tio actually did have it as part of his job description to handle social media announcements like this. And so now that there's someone who can do official TS stuff, Ash doesn't have to worry about it anymore.

3. People were getting... overly excited. As I said, it would create a lot of community engagement, just... then people would start going at each other's throats over "THIS IS A GARBAGE TS" "HEY I LIKE THIS TS" "I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE A DIFFERENT TS" "TGC HAS A CONSPIRACY TO ONLY GIVE US TRASH TS AND ALTERS THE ALGORITHM TO WITHHOLD WHAT WE WANT" "STOP TELLING PEOPLE WHO LIKE THIS TS TO STOP BEING EXCITED NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU" "I WANT PANTS WHERE ARE MY PANTS" "AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO LIKES THIS TS" and...
