Sending again as a reminder:
For people who don’t know. The sky servers in game are crashing due to the amount of people trying to get on at once for the traveling spirit.

You should be able to get on after an hour or so once traffic has slowed down. You won’t miss anything. The spirit will still be there. There is no rush.

Please keep this in mind. Devs are most likely asleep as well. Only discord mods are active and they have no control over the game. Please be kind!!

Also please don’t ask for compensation, the server crashing isn’t the games fault😭

i do agree. last year was a bit worse. i did not mean to come over as attacking i am just frustrated that the game is unplayable. tgc cant fix everything and they have their limits to what they can do internally with their server capacity. i do not care about the fire spirit at ALL. i just wanna do my cr with my wife and do something else. sky kinda became a routine for me and her lol. i honestly belive TGC can make connection errors and server queue's more streamlined. before you press play, beeing im a queue showing a few thousand people are queuing for the game. if they bottlecap it like that, and let people in everytime theres space, queue will get smaller and then play. also, english is not my first laungage. so if my sentencing sounds attacking or angry, thats not it at all

That makes sense and I do apologize for getting so aggressive too 😭 I get salty sometimes but I have to remember that the team works constantly on new updates. They try to get small server boost in patches and stuff and then on events is usually when I think I've seen bigger updates to it. I do agree about the bottleneck it down, maybe they could save each data string they have connected to each player (I don't remember how they explained it in the sky fest vid) and have that be part of how it works to streamline it more. Sometimes it feels like Tgc focuses more on cosmetics and new updates than stuff like this I feel that too but also I try and remember that that's because if how quickly they HAVE to drop all the new stuff for updates. I think that's part of why they do the server updates bit by bit

TGC, how do you justify having such bad servers for an online service game? We have dealt with the same poor service quality for over 6 years. Guys I would seriously recommend whoever is outside of a day timezone (and everyone else included) to just take a break, play another game and come back later. Overloading the servers even further isn't gonna help and the spirit is here for three days, you are not missing out, the pants are super cool but its really not worth stressing yourselves out over. Take a nap, make some food, anything really. Focusing on the servers not working rn isn't really getting anyone anywhere.

I think TGC not being able to handle a lot of players trying to play their game at a time is a separate issue which shouldn't be blamed on the playerbase's hype around a playerbase favorite cosmetic/pants, which is more sought because TGC themselves decided to bring it back like 2.5 years later which isn't a small period of time at all. Maybe express your sadness in feedback or express your emotions in a way which doesn't disregard other players' feelings. i.e. their love for fire prophet pants

I grew up with a useful phrase in my family, as a kid: "don't yuck other people's yum." In other words... If it's just a harmless matter of taste, there's no reason to go out of your way to make other people feel terrible about liking it. Conversely, they don't have to force you to like it, either. Me personally, I'm kinda eh on the pants myself, and I encourage anyone who's only wanting them because FOMO to not push themselves into getting items they don't want... But it's 100% OK to like the pants! Just because they aren't my thing, doesn't mean other people can't enjoy them. If you like the pants, I'm really happy for you, and you should enjoy them!
