Here’s my second concept art for a bug cape! This one was a lot harder than my first design, I had some troubles making it look like it belonged in the world of sky. I also couldn’t figure out how to make it look good from the front with the cape closed so just ignore that part~. There are two versions, one with just blue and turquoise and one with rainbow colors. I like the blue best but the rainbow is still kinda cute. Anyways hope you guys enjoy!

Tbh there's nothing wrong with going the paint route, but using cel shading to plan out your light source and then going to render for a more painterly effect would be beneficial (so doesn't really have to do with more confidence in work, it's just to do with utilising techniques and having more practice/using lighting references tbh)

his story is that hes the current vault archivist and lives in the archives. alastor was born in wasteland and enjoys krills
hes also fond of moths and other skids, and if the moths are lost he guides them to the elevator
hes usually found in either the archives or the 4 player activated room w the telekinesis spirit
his cape is supposed to be navy btw i just dont have a good navy marker 😭

The hopeful smiles she saw on their faces gave her the motivation to do so... ||However fate was not on her side this time as the enemy found her and proceed to interrogate the huntress. Even to the point her mask cracked and the cape that was gifted to her are teared , she wouldn't give them the information they wanted. Even though the enemies saw tears running down her now cracked mask, but behind it she smiled. A smile of hope that her family would be safe from the enemy's eyes.||

"You worry to much child." He laughed, making the boy pout. "But remember, as the leader mistakes and lost are some of thing that you need face in the future. However, I would always try to be there for you...you are my hope and legacy after all" He had seen it, his tears, his cries, his anger, his fear, no matter how hard he tried to hide it... he had seen it all. But he knew, as long as the boy knew he is loved by his little family, he will always try his best to be the leader he needs to be. The boy looked at him with wide eyes, before nodding in determination with a smile. "alright papa..."
