I made this lil drawing to celebrate this huge achievement

Bit messy but Something i scribbled when i was sick and Stuck in bed :3

Thanks I used paper mache! For the mask I just took a bunch of pages and layered it on a bowl with glue made from flour, wood glue and warm water. I then put on one layer of thick cardboard and sealed it with another few layers of paper. While it was still kinda wet I cut out the eyes and cut the edges of the mask bc it was too big and tied it with string to make it fit my face size better. When it dried I sanded the eyes to make it smooth and made the tears and crack with mushed up paper and glue and sanded it. I cut the leaves out of cardboard and made the middle parts with mushed paper. I glued the leaves with a hot glue gun and painted everything with acrylic paint ☺️

It’s a long process but it’s worth it bc it’s very sturdy and I’m gonna wear it for my cosplay!

This is my extremely quick Skytober Skyfest from memory! The idea of inktober is to draw in inks to worry less about mistakes and just mark making, and so I did that today it doesn’t have to be perfect, and I’m not at all happy with it but yet that makes me happy! And the second point is to draw every day. So don’t worry too much, just draw and watch your drawings improve over the month!

I wrote a short story for this one from the perspective of the cellist.

One of the earliest memories I could ever recall was reading from one of my books that if you held a shell up to your ear, you would hear the song of the ocean. I wanted so much to listen for myself. And so when we found that conch, it marvelled me - I began to wonder what other songs this Earth could sing.
It takes as little as dancing in the rhythm of the falling rain and calling out to the echoing songbirds to recognise how music is a language. It was never about the instrument or voice that nature chose - it was always about what it had to say. And so it didn't matter if you whistled or I sang, we were two halves of the same song.
Before we ever picked up our instruments, we were already musical. We never needed the stage to be who we were. The crowds never mattered as long as you were with me- and so it has been the greatest regret of my life to let us fall apart.
I came across a conch again the other day. So I wanted to write you this letter:
